I love Skyrim, but haven't bought any of the remasters. This has been an amazingly great purchase for me since I haven't bought any of those and it's even an upgrade to just the base game on PC!

Great game, unfortunately I bought it full-price just a couple of weeks before a Bethesda sale, but still worth the $60 to be able to play it on the switch. The only thing is that it is very dark (literally), but that's the case regardless of the console or if played in PC. First time I play it (it's about 10 years old) and I can understand the hype.

Great port overall does seem laggier than the console and pc edition.

This is just as I remember! I sank 300+ hours into Skyrim when it originally came out. Having the game on a portable platfrom is great! Nothing is better then clearing a dungeon on the plane!

This is not a new game at all, but it preforms surprisingly well on Switch. I’ve only had 1 game breaking bug in ~40 hours of play time that caused me to revert to an old save. They clearly didn’t do anything with this since the last port other than add amiibo. Save times are short, DLC is included, no mods, no surprises. Good old Skyrim, but portable!

Solid on the go game. Can get a bit dark when it’s night out in the game. But my settings are also on lowest for that. Just glad I can finally play skyrim since I don’t own the other systems

The reason I'm giving this review 4 stars is because of the excellent customer service I received when I went to purchase this game for my Nintendo Switch. I went in to price match with Amazon for a lower total and came out with an even lower total due to a price with Gamestop at the time which was found by the cashier. The game itself is nothing special. Once you've played Skyrim on another platform, having it on the Switch does not make it any better. Sure, the amiibo functionality is cool, but it is definitely not necessary to enjoy the game. In short, if you've already played Skyrim on another platform, don't waste your time on the Switch port. If you've never played Skyrim and enjoy open-world games, go ahead and give it a shot.

This game is awesome because of the sheer amount of side quests, dungeons, soundtrack, and the impressive graphics! I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a solid RPG experience

Bought this for my son for Christmas. So haven't seen him play yet, but he's a big Skyrim / Elder scrolls fan and he'll be excited to be able to take Skyrim with him whenever he's out.

I was pretty nervous if they would be able to follow through with this when they first announced the Switch. It is fantastic. Get on this, yet another great title for a great system.

This game is already a great game and it plays so smooth on the switch. Undocked I've had no issues with slow downs or stuttering. They did an amazing job getting this game ported.

Teen boy excitedly received this game as a gift. While the game is available on other consoles, the unique Zelda-themed items available by using Amiibo add uniqueness to using the Switch (and the teen joins in on the Breath of the Wild fervor that's taken over the house since the Switch came out). Plus, having the game on the Switch allows the teen to continue playing when someone else in the family would like to use the TV.

How they got this massive game on the cartridge is beyond me. The game looks great and plays great. I've been waiting for this version for a long time and it does not dissapoint.

This is a great port for the Switch. If you were a fan of the original or if you have the definitive edition on PS4 or XB1 I would recommend it for the switch for on the go play.

Skyrim to play whenever you want for how ever long you want, thanks to the easy portable switch. Amazing port of a great rpg. This system is blowing my mind in this first year.

So, I played this game for the PC when it came out and loved it. I was pleasantly surprised to see it being re-released for the Switch. I bought a copy which I am giving to my brother for Xmas, and he has also bought me a copy which he is giving to me. I can't wait to actually play it, even though I already know that I will love the game.

Basically the same game many have come to love, but now on the go. The graphics are between the Enhanced PS4 and Xbox One versions and the original PS3/Xbox 360 versions. I have not experienced any glitches or issues that weren't already present in the game. My only gripe is that I feel this game should have not been the full $60 retail.

I played this game for a while on the the PS3 and didn't like it, but when it came out for the Switch I thought I would give it another shot. I am really enjoying it this time around. The motion controls are not as good as I was thought they would be, but they are pretty fun to use. It is also nice that it is available to play on the go.
