It's Skyrim - fun game & great to play on the go. The game has crashed twice, which is why I can't give it a 5 star, but otherwise it's worked great.

I played the game 6 years ago on my PS3, I can't believe the game actually looks better on a even smaller device, bravo Nintendo and Bethesda, bravo.

The graphics are reduced resolution from pc version of the game or other counsel for that matter, however it is still a great game and fun to play.

I first started playing Skyrim in 2013 on the xbox360. A couple year passed, on the PS4. Now on the switch. Oddly enough when playing in handheld mode i have found there to be a new fear factor, so thats cool. I honestly love being able to take my game with me wherever i go. And this way i dont have to share the t.v. if someone else wants to play a game. The controls, like normal when switching from an old console, take some time to get used to, but this game is awesome. I have actually been playing this game longer than my son has been walking the earth, so at least 6 years.

Skyrim is one of the best games ever made, the fact that you can take it anywhere is awesome! Just remember to brighten the switch's screen as those dark tunnels make it had to see otherwise.

This is a great game with a huge world with a ton of quests. The only detraction from the game is how glitchy it is, as well as the clunkiness of the gameplay at times. I have been stuck multiple times in slight depressions in the ground. It's really annoying to lose the last 10 minutes of gaming just because you fell in a 2-inch whole that you can't jump out of.

Having Skyrim in a handheld format has reinvigorated the game for me. I owned it on 360 upon its initial release and then again when the version with all the expansions came out. I loved it, but by the time GTA V came out I was unimpressed with Skyrim's scope and range of activities. Something about having it on the handheld has brought it new life. Being able to take it anywhere physically has made the game feel broader. It still lacks a lot of activities and verticality present in newer sandboxes but I've come to appreciate it so much more. It also looks fantastic on the small screen. For me this has become the best version.

This is one of the best games I've played. I love how I got to create my character and being able to go on different missions. There's a wide variety of things you could do and make the decision to be good by helping others or evil by killing everyone and everything. As you level up you gain power for different skill sets that you get to choose. You can adopt children and buy houses. You can pay someone to be your partner to help you on your missions by giving them better armor and weapons. That's just a few things you can get into on the game. It is very addicting. I've put in over 100hrs in a short period of time. You definitely have to play this game!

A Lot of Bang for Your Buck

This game has been high on my list of upcoming Switch games to play due to the fact that I have never had a chance to play it previously. I am happy to report that it delivers in every aspect. The game play is smooth, combat is fun, and the scenery is breathtaking. Although some might complain about the lack of mods or creation club support, I'm able to enjoy the game perfectly fine and as it was intended to be played so I don't see those two aspects as really deterrents. I love going on these long, epic adventures and I'm sure to be playing this for a very good while. My only complaint is that I have read in other reviews that as you progress further along in the game and store a lot of items in chests that it does suffer from some lag, but I believe that is a common problem also found in other versions of the game as well. An easy fix is to use the chest in Whiterun which apparently does not suffer from this bug, and to use as little save files as possible (or to make a new save file every once in a while and delete your older ones.) I hope everyone (of age) gets to try this game at least once, the portability factor of this version makes it the most easy to access in my opinion, and it's worth playing through if you enjoy high levels of fantasy and action.

Always enjoyed Skyrim when I had it on my Xbox, and love it even more on the Switch! Looks good on the switch and loads much quicker than it ever had on my 360.

Did not own any console when Skyrim came out. Saw a friend played it and liked it. Finally bought it for switch. It is nice. Good gameplay. It will occupy you for a while if you enjoy the genre. I bought the Switch and Skyrim after leaving 2 years of constant competitive mobile game play. Skyrim and the switch was a fresh air.

A game I have always read about but never really had a chance to play. This game amaze me on the switch being able to tale it. It reminds me of fall out and all the side quest are amazing.

Originally when I bought this game I had watched hours of footage about it trailer after trailer and spent many more talking to my friends about the potential upsides of this game. Fresh off the heels of TESIV: Oblivion I was ready to dive in. Unfortunately I made it maybe 10 hours into the game and my copy randomly turned up missing and being young I just took it as a loss. What else could I do. Now that I'm older and have more disposable income I decided to come back and check it out and it truly does not disappoint Everything you know and love about the elder scrolls games with mobile support. Best purchase for my switch so far
