FANTASTIC Gem of a Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I missed out on Skyrim prior to this Switch port. I wasn't sure if it would be the game for me, but I took a chance and bought it without waiting for a sale. I am VERY glad I did. The only reason I haven't poured three times as many hours into this game as I already have is that my son got his hands on it and it hasn't left his Switch ever since. Even though he's already beat the game, he continues to explore and complete side quests. This game would have gotten five stars simply on the merit of making my son so happy, but I also think it's great fun. 10/10, absolutely a must buy, especially if you've never played the game before.

Great Port with Minimal difference between console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is great the only noticeable difference is the lack of mods, otherwise great game this is the Special Edition Skyrim

Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game Plays smooth, no frame drops and maintains a good 30 FPS. Load times are a little long, but bearable. Looks great on screen.

Good port
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great port of Skyrim but there’s some glitches that take me out of the game. But it’s Skyrim, so it’s fun and portable.

A great fit for Switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After playing BotW I wanted to keep playing an open world game so I decided to give Skyrim another go. I have it on PC but couldn’t find hours to sit at my desk and play it but with Switch I can play a little here and there anytime. The convenience is perfect to knock out a quest or two. I’ve only had it a couple of weeks and have put over 30 hours into it. The game has some glitches here and there but they aren’t game breaking. Overall it plays very smooth. Sometimes the text is hard to read too but only on the handheld at arms length. I can’t wait to see what other third party games are ported or brought over.

Great Game But...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mods need to be included at some point otherwise this game is not really hitting its potential. Been playing Skyrim since 2011.

Portable Skyrim!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Skyrim on the Nintendo Switch is just as good as its orginal releases on PS3 and XBOX 360. Don't expect PS4 visuals, but it definitely doesn't look bad. One of the biggest draws for me is the ability it play this on the go. I'm still surprised by how well the Switch handles with massive game. Another plus is the inclusion of all DLC - content that used to cost $30-40 extra to play. As for Skyrim itself, its a great game with great gameplay and compelling characters and stories that has taken hundred of hours from me. Just buy Skyrim in one format or another, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Yes, it’s still Skyrim... but mobile!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The biggest complaint about this game is that it’s “just Skyrim all over again”... to which I say, but it’s mobile!!! Who would’ve thought when Skyrim was first released that a few years later we’d be playing it on a hand held device. There are of course some visual sacrifices to have it run smoothly on the Switch, but in hand held mode (the only way I play it), the game is surprisingly gorgeous. It’s never going to compete with my PC or Xbox One X versions, but for those times you want to slay dragons in bed, or do some crafting on a break at work, this is amazing. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Classic game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is great, always has been. Looks much better on a PC, but hey, can’t complain, the switch is mobile! MOBILE SKYRIM!

Time to be a Stealth Archer Again
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own Skyrim on the PS3, PS4, and PC, but jumped at the chance to get it for the Switch just for the portability. While the Switch isn't the most powerful or graphically impressive of the current consoles, it still handles this game well. If you are looking for an RPG that gives you a great about of freedom to be who/what you want, and has a ton of interesting quests and places to explore, pick up Skyrim. It has hundreds - if not thousands - of hours of entertainment.

Incredible port
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely impressive port of a classic game. I had no problems jumping right in, particularly in handheld mode. The real bonus is the ability to pick up and play the game right after waking the Switch, not to mention Skyrim on the go. It makes the game even more enjoyable in short (or long) bursts. I was admittedly a Skyrim newbie (my old PC was failing), so I was anxious about trying this being my first experience playing it. The game is perfectly suited for console control, and you'll feel right at home the instant you launch the game.

Amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Graphics is what I was most curious about, but it’s actually really good. It’s slightly better than the 360/PS3 version. It’s not a HD remaster or anything but the game looks good on the Switch especially during hand held mode. Cons: the game is really dark, and I’m not talking about the theme of the game. I’m talking about the picture. If you explore a cave you have to make sure you’re equipped with a torch if not.....then good luck is all I can say. The game itself doesn’t have a gamma/picture option either, even if our brighten up your Nintendo Switch system it still doesn’t help.

Yup, bought it again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Skyrim, but portable. I’ve had the PS4 special edition for a while, and the graphics are definitely not as good as that. But it’s portable Skyrim. Who cares?
