This game runs good on the switch nice visuals and steady framerate. Also its a huge game on the go cant beat that.

This is only the second open world game I have played (the other be BOTW) and it is just as good. The graphics remained true to the original release and there few rendering gliches. Game play with the individual Joycons has a little bit to get use to. Being able to switch playing the game in either first or third person perspective is unique and trouble some when you are fighting and inadvertently trigger the switch. Over all it is a great game to play!!

As a fan of the original Skyrim back on the Xbox 360 - I was hooked. Sank many hours into this expansive game and loved it. As soon as the Switch announced this title it was all I needed to hear in order to want to buy a Switch. I'm an older gamer having grown up in the heyday of the Original NES and have supported Nintendo on each release since. Should you buy this? Yes, only if you want to experience an incredible game on the go. I would recommend.

I bought this game because my girlfriend like the Elder Scolls Games and she has a blast defeating bosses!

So, Skyrim is a really good game. It has a really fun storyline and interesting dialogue. I don't think it should be the first game you should buy upon buying your switch, since Breath of the Wild is much better if you're looking for action and adventure as this game offers. The voices are great, but my only problem is the game is a bit glitchy and slow sometimes. Also, when they remastered this game for the X-Box, it looked so amazing as far as the colors and HD effect. For Switch, it kind of lacks that extra touch.

This isn’t my first time purchasing Skyrim and I don’t regret that at all. Portable Skyrim is a win.

It's Skyrim. I've played through this game twice, on two different consoles over the last 7 years. The Switch graphics land somewhere between, say, the PS3 and PS4. Not current-gen good, but an improvement over the original release. The controls are great, load times are very minimal, and the ability to play wherever I go is phenomenal. If you're one of the 5 people who never played it, this is a good version to start with.

No matter how many times Skyrim gets rereleased, it always offers an amazing adventure every time. This time with the addition of portability on the Nintendo Switch, unfortunately bereft of the enhancements featured on the PS4 and Xbox one version, such as mods and graphical enhancements to foliage and other visuals. Nonetheless, it is still a phenomenal edition to the mediums of which Skyrim can be accessed.

Easy to work, lots of fun. Definitely challenging sometimes. You should try it yourself.

The Switch continues to surprise me. Temper your expectations and realize Nintendo isn’t out to compete with Sony or Microsoft. Nintendo walks its own path and those 3rd parties who are taking risks with bring software to Switch are reaping their rewards. Not a half baked attempt but a full pledge in making games. Skyrim is remarkable on Switch in that I can continue on the go and resume on the big screen.

This is a fantastic title for the Nintendo Switch. The graphics are as good as it was on any other console and the controls are too. I've put hours into this and haven't seen any slowdown in framerate. It plays great as a portable title and definitely one that will keep you occupied for hours and days.... By far my favorite title for the Switch and a perfect title to showcase what the Switch can really do!

I'd never played these games before. I tried Oblivion for a few hours but didn't like the character design and fighting felt clunky so gave up. This one is way better. The opening was fun. The portability is great - no hiccups. The motion control is great for bows. Quick save just adds to the nice pick up and play feel of this game. Excited to finally play this game. Graphics look good to me as well.

Skyrim is a wonderful game and I highly recommend the new downloadable content! It changes up the game wonderfully and adds new quests and items.

My kids (6 and 8) could play this game non-stop. If you want them to actually SOLVE the problems, only expect them to solve the first 5 before they just start clipping each other to bits. When that happens, show them the PvP portion of the game where that's the GOAL...Then...They'll fall in love. For the record, my wife and I have actually gone through the whole game solving the puzzles.

I was skeptical at first about playing Skyrim again since it’s a 6 year old game. However this is the best way to play all because of the portability. The game looks like a mix between the recently released remastered gane for the Xbox One/PS4 and the original from the Xbox 360/ PS3 era. There are a few hiccups in the game, but overall it’s great to have this game available wherever I go.

I had doubts about Skyrim being ported to Switch...but no more. Skyrim at launch was a massive game that punished high end desktop systems. To have that game in the palm of your hand is amazing. I have spent more time playing this version than I have on the PC because of the portability. It does eat up the battery fairly quickly so have an external battery for prolonged on the go use.

I am so happy that skyrim was made for the Nintendo switch, love playing skyrim.

If graphics don't matter taking Skyrim anywhere is awesome even on the toilet!!!
