I've played Skyrim for years now, and the remaster was a wonderful invitation to return to the game world that caught me by storm the first time I played it. Now, with the game being brought to the Nintendo Switch, I can take Skyrim wherever I go and I couldn't have asked for more!

I have primarily played this in hand held mode and can say, the game plays very well. It's unreal to play it on the go. On the small screen, you can't see any of the compromises they had to make to put it on the smaller device compared with PS4 or Xbox One. I'm enjoying playing again.

I’m impressed with how well this runs on the Switch. It’s very smooth and the graphics look nearly like they did in PC and PS4. There’s a lot to go through if you like the Elder Scrolls games this is a great game for you! The portability factor makes it a must have for Switch owners!

I previously owned this game for the Xbox. Now that I have it on the Switch, I prefer the fun of using motion controls to aim over the moderately improved graphics on the Xbox. Plus since the switch is portable, I can play it while my wife does something else with the TV.

Previously I have played Skyrim on the Xbox 360 and on PC, but experiencing it on the Switch is by far my most preferred way to play it. The game runs smoothly, looks glorious, and being able to play in my bed just makes the Switch version of Skyrim the definitive version for me.

I started 9 years too late for this game, but I fell in love with it instantly! It helped that I initially loved it after seeing some college neighbors play it, it looked absolutely like my kind of game: an open world, adventure game!

I've never played any of the Skyrim games until this one. As an avid Zelda player, this is like an adult version of Zelda. Beautiful graphics and tons of quests. I bought this earlier this year and I'm still nowhere finished and still enjoying it every chance I get.

I had somehow missed Skyrim for years, which I know is unforgivable. However, so glad I picked it up for the Switch for the portability. The Amiibo compatibility is a nice touch. Had so much fun souping up the Master Sword and Champion's Tunic!

Everyone told me that the picture would be lower quality for Skyrim on the Switch, but I think it looks fantastic and sharp. The bonus for playing this on Nintendo is being able to use your amiibos in the game for extra cool stuff.

If you don't already know Skyrim is an excellent game. Bringing Skyrim to the Switch is in one word fantastic. You can put countless hours into this game and still find something new. And now that it's portable it's even easier to dump those hours into this game.

So when Skyrim was released many years back my wife did become a "Skyrim widow". Once I saw that this was available and picked it up all those wonderful memories flooded back to me. My poor wife! And being able to walk around and play Skyrim on the Switch, priceless!

It's Skyrim again, but this time it goes wherever you go. This isn't the version with all the graphical enhancements, but it still looks good. For a portable game, you can't beat it. It includes all DLC released for the game too, so you get the complete experience.

I got Skyrim for Xbox when it first came out, and while I didn't beat it, I got pretty far along. It works just as well on the Switch as it did on the Xbox. I mostly play it in handheld mode and can see everything on screen just fine. Bethesda did a great job!

It’s amazing how this expansive, immersive world can fit into such a tiny lil’ cartridge. I’m glad it is. And the best part, I can travel to Skyrim whenever & wherever I want. And to top it off, by scanning my Breath of the Wild amiibo I can do it dressed as Link. Cool.

I played this in my Xbox 360 years ago, and I knew this would be my first game for the switch. The experience is great! Even though it is for a handheld I have no problem playing it. Hooked it up to my TV and the experience got 10x better. Totally worth it.

My wife just got back into gaming and she has been buying all her games at Best Buy because they have a really good selection and their prices are comparable if not better than other plays.

Overall the title says it all. The game was fantastic when it released, and believe it or not it is still enjoyable to play. The graphics are aged, which was sort of expected. I didn’t think it would be as polygonal, though. All in all, because of the portability the Switch provides I would still recommend this; especially to those who have never played an Elder Scrolls.

it was impressive what this game achieved at the time but I never found the art style appealing. It holds up otherwise.

I get it: Bethesda games are all about the PC modding community and any other platform is worse in comparison. However, the base game is still a ton of fun, and it runs well and looks great on Switch. If you want Skyrim on a portable, you'll be happy.
