Cold just Cold, the Equalizer keeps you on the edge of your seat.

I didnt realize that Denzel Washington didnt do sequels. The equalizer part 1 was an amazing movie. He's started in so many. But I was excited to hear that he would be making another equalizer film. Equalizer 2 was really good! But i think it did fall I to the sequel trap. It was really good, just not as good as the first one?

Denzel has that dark brooding intensity that works for these action/dramas. Good storyline, very decent acting with excellent fight scenes. Lots of fun, yet not nearly as dark as other action/revenge movies. Highly recommended!

This movie occurs in an international setting and has Denzel flying around the world to take on international terrorists. He wins, of course, and makes the russian mafia look like schoolyard bullies. This film is better than the first.

Movies that HAD to be added to our collection. We had been looking for them for a while but at a cheaper price. We tried a lot of places but we finally ran into them at Best Buy. We preferred blue ray but still a little too pricey!

This equalizer 2 dose disappoint .Denzel is at his best in this move. It’s just as good as the first one to me. I love this move. Pick one up today. 4K is amazing it like nothing you ever seen before. Sony TV Sony 4K DVD player.

I loved part 1 and two is even better. I was at the edge of my seat with the story and mission and dedication that he has to do the right thing. The picture and graphics are amazing. I watched it more than one. Simply amazing movie.

The Equalizer was an unexpectedly good action movie. The idea that someone was able to slow down his own time to defeat evil for the good of man was novel when the 80’s TV incarnation was around. Even better in modern times. Denzel turned in a fine performance that first film too! This time out, McCall is still fighting for the hurt, lost, and the troubled. This time he is a Lyft driver who helps those in need at almost every turn, big or small. We see him helping the elderly, helping troubled teenagers, helping strangers left worse for wear in his Lyft vehicle. Then the unthinkable happens... a dear friend is murdered. McCall then goes beast mode on those who contributed to the death. Action scenes are intercut with some decent, if not a little slowly paced drama. Denzel again fits the role like a glove and does some amazing dramatic work. He is easily still one of the finest working actors we have around today. Overall, the movie is a noble follow up to the first, even if the action isn’t nearly as kinetic. Picture and Sound quality for this release are overall near reference quality— you’re treated to a beautifully rendered 2K digital intermediate and some nice color grading and brightness highlights. This picture is sharp! Sound wise, you’re system will receive some subwoofer punishment and if you’ve got an Atmos setup, those height channels will get a little bit of work going through them as well! If you’re a fan of the series, you’ll likely enjoy it, even if you don’t love it as much as the first... it’s a recommend for me!

Had viewed the original Denzel Washington Equalizer and enjoyed it very much. I remember the original Equalizer some years back and loved it. I figured that I would enjoy the current DVD and I did. A lot of entertaining action.

Action, thriller and great audio sound if you have a surround sound system. Denzel has done it again with his magic acting. Gets right to the point from the beginning. Get this movie in 4k and experience perfect picture quality.

This is a very well done 4K HDR movie. If you’re okay with the level of violence in this movie (and the original) then you will really enjoy the visual presentation (particularly on LG OLED C8 class TV - which I watched it on).

Denzel was absolutely perfect in this role. Think he’d give John Wick a run for his money. The intensity, focus, physicality and ingenuity is a sight to behold. Another movie that will stand the test of time and many rewatches.

While this movie may not be as good as the first one, it still has a great performance from Denzel and the relationship with the kid that lives in his complex is great. Just didn't have as much action as the first, some slower parts that I didn't care as much for. Still worth a watch for fans of the first.

Equalizer 2 is a good sequel. The action scenes are great. The plot is done well. This movie looks great in 4K. A must see for old and new fans of Denzel Washington. Since this is his first sequel he has done in his film career.

Thoroughly enjoyed the 2nd entry in this series. Denzel is such a great actor and really sells this movie. Great action scenes and realistic plot. Love the 4K format, super clear picture for improved viewing experience.

Apparently the first time Denzel has ever reprised a role. I actually found this even better than the first film, with more background on the mysterious Robert McCall. Hoping Denzel will be enticed to do a third film!

I love both the Equalizer movies. Denzel does a superb acting job, and the acting is very worthwhile. I think both of the movies are more than worthy of watching. Again, Best Buy makes another great Steelbook for a movie too.
