Action filled movie. Lot of violence content definitely now suitable for non mature audiences.

Denzel had no sophomore slump nor senior slump. In this second outing, he continues to prove why he’s a bankable star, able to play roles with heart, humanity, humor and cunning when needed. Excellent work!

I bought this expecting a replay of the first one. This one is different in that its a slower, more deliberate pace in the action. McCall is his usual lethal self, but the movie is more personal to him than the original.

Our main Character is at it again and the continuation is perfect. I really loved that the main character didnt change his core values or the way he treats “villains”. The story is MUCH more involved and worth the watch!

I grew up watching Edward Woodward in the Equalizer series back in the mid eighties and have to admit was a bit concerned I would not like it being turned into a movie all these years later. The first portrayal by Denzel did not disappoint and this second installment was equally good.

This was a great sequel to the first. It was different from the first, but the plot, acting, and filming was good! If you like a good, entertaining plot that addresses some current life issues, this is a film to get.

Great movie and shows the wide range of Denzel's skills as an actor. I wanted to see more action as in the first Equalizer but I tempered my desires by accepting this was a different script, a different story.

The Equalizer 2 is one of Denzel Washington best action movies. This time around he used more hand to hand combat and the action scenes were excellent. If you like a story with action this is the one to see.

Equalizer 2 another great movie in this series. Denzel Washington is great. The storyline is great. The plot is very interesting and the action scenes are good. Fan of Denzel you will like this movie.

Man was this a really good movie. I thought the first movie was good as heck but this one was amazing. It’s always shocking when the second movie literally topples the first movie which was already great itself.

What can I say, Denzel is a mega-Hollywood star!!! This movie is just as exhilarating as the first. Denzel is one not to be played with. The picture color and sound on 4K is the ultimate! This is a must see movie!

Denzel Washington does it again! Brilliantly revising his role in Equalizer 2 in the first sequel of his legendary career, Washington brings action, heart, and quality work in this masterful thriller.

Denzel Washington does in The Equalizer 2 what he's never done before: a sequel. Ex-CIA agent Robert McCall returns for another spin on the classic TV series. In this film, McCall now lives in a different part of Boston, making a living as a Lyft driver while taking on side jobs (he foils a child kidnapping in the beginning), while mentoring a young street artist with gang issues. But when an old friend and colleague of his is murdered by thugs, while on an assignment in Belgium, McCall finds himself facing the surviving members of his old CIA attack team. They're busy cleaning up loose ends, and McCall is next on their list. He deals with them in a complex final battle, in a deserted coastal town during a major storm, from which only one side will emerge victorious. As McCall, Washington brings the action and the drama just as he did the first time around, and the Boston locales are again in evidence for authenticity (there are some scenes of an apartment building for retirees in nearby Lynn--I myself drive by the place frequently, so it's good to see it here). In all, a welcome companion to the original and a worthy addition to anyone's library.

Great, clear picture with vibrant sound. I did a package, TV, Sound Bar and the disc player. The fit is Great and Samsung pkg, is 5 star. You won't be disappointed. QLED TV, N-850 sound bar and M8500 player.

Denzel comes through again with a great performance. Although I liked the first movie a little better, the sequel kept my attention with an interesting story line and good acting from all the ensemble.

The action was slow starting out then WOW, the storyline all came together from the middle to end. Good movie that screen writes "real issues" facing young adults living on the edge in the big city. The Superhero in this one didn't need to fly or have bullets bounce off him. Just have skills.

My wife and I were able to see this movie in our local movie theater and were happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and we are looking forward to watching it as often as we want.

Best Buy had this on sale. My Reward Certificate was expiring. They offered free shipping. I had just thought about adding this one to my Equalizer Blu Ray movie. Glad I did. It is the only character that Denzel has played twice. Almost as enjoyable as the first one.

I loved the first one, so I had high expectations. Eq2 is very good, but I think it wasn't quite as good as the first one. Still highly recommended, and Denzel just keeps getting better. I was mainly disappointed at the story arc- the identity of the bad guys was just a little sad.
