The biggest complaints fans of Flash have had are that the show is far too dour after Season 1 and that they're sick of speedster villains. Season 3 is the darkest season of the show and its arc villain is once again another speedster. While there are some good parts to the season, most of it is a struggle to get through, with the finale being particularly bad.

I don't envy having to write what amounts to 11 movies; that said, this show has continued to drop in interest for me. While the first season felt like near perfection from anything & everything you would want in a comic book show, this season continued the trend of it feeling lost. With a great opener & story idea like Flashpoint, it was heartbreaking to see them break away from it so quickly. While some of the changes made (over the entire CWVerse, perfect!) have a lasting impact, one of the biggest issues with the show for myself is that there are few stakes. Stories and characters play a tad inconsistent but if you've enjoyed the show or enjoy the comic books, it's still fun to see the pieces they interject from The Flash's legacy. I'm a huge nerd for special features. I haven't watched these yet but am super excited to break through them all. Had this been season one, I would've bought the gorgeous steelbook in an instant. An overall decent show, but definitely not great.

I love this series and love that I can rewatch this season again

The third season of The Flash is a serious downgrade from the first two seasons. It is hampered by a villain reveal that happened way too late in the season, mysteries that are given explainations that make no sense or are never explained at all, and a main villain who pales in comparison to his two predecessors. The picture and sound quality are great as are the special features. I would not recommend paying full price for this set because of how uneven this season is.

It could have been better. Flashpoint could have lasted longer than just one episode and the big reveal as to the identity of Savitar became predictable. Would have been better off if they revealed savitar's identity early on and then explained how he came to be a little bit in the remaining episodes instead of throwing too much information at the audience all at once.

Some good episodes but mostly a season long exercise in mediocrity. Savitar's secret turned out to be a huge letdown so much so the season ending cliffhanger was wrapped up pretty quickly in the next season. On the plus side, blu ray really makes the Flash shine. Looks and sounds great!!

Maybe I'm just over the whole superhero thing but it's starting to get kind of hokey. The characters are still great and so watch the show for them but the villains are all so far fetched and silly that the show just has somewhat lost me by this 3rd season.

Love the flash and the lightness it brings to my week, but this one got slow and dark. Still would reccomend for character growth and progression. Blue ray has good special features though quite pricey upon release.

3rd season is not as good as the first 2 seasons. Guess to much drama after a while and I wanted more "super" hero/villains such as Grogg.

Pretty good shows but not marvel. Plot line repetitive, new villian, flash fixes, 45 minutes. Teen daughter likes it.

Season 3 is definitely stepped down from the first two seasons of The Flash but still good and heartfelt at the end

Kinda feels like repetition at this point but hey if read the Flash comics then you'll understand.

The continuation is to shaky. Seems too out of context. Theres no real context like between Season 1 and 2

Wasn't that big of a fan of Season #, but in the end they pulled it off and ended up being fairly good.

Not a terrible season, but didn't live up to its potential either. Still worth checking out.
