    The blu-ray is a must have for classic movie goers! It was on sale as well as receiving a free ticket to the new Kingsman movie! All for under $10...what a deal! Awesome!

    William friedkin delivers a great crime film that delivers in acting, story telling and tension that is up there with the best. One of gene hackmans memorable roles.

    This is a must own for any Gene Hackman fan, a classic among suspense and spy movies and a must own for any Gene Hackman fan. They don't make them like this anymore. But that is just my opinion. This and 3 Days of the Condor. Two of the more predominant spy movies of that era.

    What a fantastic movie! It's nice to be able to go back and watch some of the classics. Movies that really set the tone for the future of movie making. The chase scene says it all.

    It's a classic. Pure and simple. The French Connection is about police officers who uncover drug ties with French criminals. The car chases still hold up to this day.

    Friedkin is the master of this kind of movie. Gritty, raw and real. A good follow-up would be his masterpiece from the mid 80's titled "To Live and Die in L.A."

    This movie contains, for my money, the greatest and most intense chase scene in film history. Still is a gritty depiction of crime and police work in the good old days.

    Great action, great story, great cast! It stars Gene Hackman (Superman 1978) and Roy Scheider (JAWS) in this true life police drama! A must see for movie buffs!

    This is one of THE BEST COP MOVIES OF ALL TIMES. saw this when it 1st came out in Ca. AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Gene is a BAD A**. The movie speaks for itself.

    What's to say? Docu-drama that changed movie making. Up-and-coming director, hungry actors, a script based on a true story. Watch and see for yourself.

    Anyone into the Crime/Mystery or Suspense genres needs to see this film. Gene Hackman also gives actors a clinic on how to act in this one!!

    Popeye Doyle is one of those iconic roles that won't be forgotten and Hackman plays him impeccably. You can't go wrong with this movie
