The Grandmaster is among one of the best kung fu film produced. I highly recommend it, It takes a little more to understand it. Action wise, I do not see many rivals.

I found this in a bin for $5.99 and had to take it home.Based on a true story and absolutely beautiful cinematography..on par with Hero by Tarantino..pick this up if you enjoy the Kung Fu genre.

This movie is a concise story line for IP man's life story. It tells the story from a different set. It is good, but don't expect the same actors if you followed the original IP man movies.

Purchased for my dad, he enjoys the martial arts movies. Ended up watching with him and movie is actually entertaining. Audio and video quality is good although.

I bought the Grandmaster because he was the karate expert that trained Bruce Lee. It was interesting to see details about how he evolved into the master he was.

I was a die hard Bruce Lee fan as a kid. This movie had the class of the Chinese Connection or Enter The Dragon. The female lead stole the show. The fight scene at the train station was one of the best I've ever seen.

The level of expertise and fluidity of movement exhibited in this movie is phenomenal. I f you love martial arts movies you'll love this one.

Continuation of Ip Man Biography. This being said, it does start off a little slow, but picks up the pace as it goes along. A MUST SEE FOR THE MARTIAL ARTS FAN!

For those of you who aren't tired of Ip Man's life story, the Grand Master takes the Ip Man saga and pairs it with Yuen Woo Ping's awesome fight direction and fancier filmmaking by Wong Kar-wai.

Even though this movie was released long time ago, it still surpasses many Chinese kunf fu movies on the market now. Non stop action with a little sad romance storyline. For 11 bucks, definitely worth the buy.

This was a good movie. I would have liked to have had the international cut included as well. Not as good as Donnie Yen's Ip Man but still good.

Amazing cinematography; there's this visual craft that might be the only reason to see it. If you love Wong Kar Wai, you'll recognize his style.

On an artistic level and on a level of superior martial arts, it's very authentic. One of my absolute favorites. I was blown away when I first saw it so I just had to have it on Blu-Ray.

It was finally time for the great iconoclastic Hong Kong director to turn to martial arts action in his intense and atmospheric telling of the great grandmaster teacher, Ip man, and he doesn't disappoint.

I really enjoyed this movie. I'm a big fan of Bruce Lee and wanted to know more about his master, Ip Man. The fighting scenes were great with the coreography. Would recommend to my friends.

not as exciting as other versions of "ip man", bruce lee's master, but definitely a different take on ip man that is still entertaining

Great movie for those who are interested in the real story of how martial arts grew and changed over time and the changes that occurred and why.
