This game is perfect for those who love playing for a long time, took me 3 hours to finish one case and absolutely love the details Capcom did for the switch port, overall wonderful game.

This is a great visual novel game, and definitely a welcome port from Capcom since I love the Ace Attorney Franchise. There's a lot of content packed so I heavily recommend it.

    The Culmination of Ace Attorney

Another great entry into the Ace Attorney series. It is a prequel set over 100 years before the main games, and there is no need to have played any of the other games to enjoy this one, though you will find plenty of references to previous running gags that were funny. I think I actually like the main cast of this series even more than I liked the original main cast. Herlock Sholmes in particular is something else, and his Deduction Spectaculars are entirely worth witnessing. He's definitely my favorite version of S(Holmes) ever. This game also added about 3 fun new mechanics that aren't in the older games: Multiple witnesses on the stand, who react to what the other witnesses are saying, the aforementioned deduction segments with Sholmes, and the third one will appear some time in court that I don't want to give away any surprises for. All in all, this game is in all fairness not as long as the other ones, but it is highly polished and makes perfect use of the series's transition to 3D. Great Ace Attorney definitely feels like the culmination of every game that came before, and you get two 3DS games for the price of one beautiful HD port that looks fantastic on my TV. It's a steal!

A great way to play normally Japan only releases. The game follows an ancestor of Phoenix Wright on his legal journey. With many twists and turns, the game keeps you invested at every moment.

The pacing is a bit off (slow start, fast finish), but it has everything I love about classic Ace Attorney, plus new twists that feel in keeping with what makes the originals so fun

Two thrilling titles of courtroom drama

This collection includes two previously-released titles, beautifully localized for the first time. If you're unfamiliar, the Ace Attorney series is the very best in courtroom adventure titles, bringing about thrilling cases that'll have you racking your brain to uncover the truth, and these games, set in the past, are no exception. For both fans old and new, this is a must-have and a definite must-play.

It's 2 games in 1 for a great price. Like other ace attorney games, the characters really grow on you. Throughout the second part, I kept lamenting that the adventure would be over soon. The first part will definitely leave you with questions, but the story is built throughout the two games so you do need to play both in order to get the full picture. Overall a very fun time and great for people who have played other ace attorney games or people just starting.

America finally getting a duology of previously-unlocalized Ace Attorney titles is worth the purchase in and of itself. It definitely helps that the cases here are solid, and the localization work is doubly so. A mandatory purchase for any Ace Attorney fan.

I've played the first Ace Attorney game and liked it, but this game was on a whole different level. bought it on a whim and absolutely loved it. It's pretty long though and the two games are basically just one, so be aware of that.

For fans of the visual novel genre, this is an engrossing double feature that spans two games that many thought would never see an official release in the English language. Stuck on the 3DS, and only in Japan, the Dai Gyakuten Saiban duo-logy finally gets a chance to see a wide audience. If you enjoyed the previous releases in the Ace Attorney franchise with the adventures of Phoenix Wright and friends, you will enjoy this too. If you enjoy the old Arsene Lupin and Sherlock Holmes stories, you will totally enjoy the adventures of Herlock Sholmes, I assure you. If you haven't tried out a visual novel before, this is a great way to start as it gives you around 40 hours of engrossing adventures. It's well worth a look.

As a long time fan of the Ace Attorney series, I was pleasantly surprised when this game was announced! The one cart contains both Great Ace Attorney games, and the story from the first seamlessly carries over to the second. Just like the other Ace Attorney games, it’s gameplay is point-and-click investigation sequences that then lead into courtroom sessions where you play as a defense attorney. Although this game doesn’t have anything to do with Phoenix, the characters are just as good and the individual cases contain an overarching story that you’ll be compelled to play through.

Great game. It comes before the Ace Attorney Chronicles in the timeline but still had a memorable cast. You can play this game without having played the previous ones.
