I have to admit, I didn't have very high hopes when we bought this movie. I was so wrong! This was an awesome movie! They combined Asian visuals, a fantasy story line, and jam packed action scenes for a surprisingly great movie.

This is a dynamic, fabulous film that is so creative, well done in all categories. The action never ends and is spell binding. The sets are amazing. All the art direction & CGI are so well done. Matt Damon is excellent in this film.

I love the movie and even though I don't have 4K Ultra, the price was decent to get it as long as it has bluray for me. It cost me like $10+ during Black Friday. It was cheaper than the bluray/dvd combo pack for sure.

At first, I didn't think much of this movie when I heard about it but man. When I popped it into a Sony ubp-700 on a Sony 950G, I was blown away. Add good quality sound and bam! You got yourself a fun movie.

Good price selection of 4k movies at this location Waterstone in Mason, Ohio. Great People very helpful, especially in the audio/video department.

This is the fourth movie I have watched in 4K I’m still being amazed at the picture quality and realistic action it’s like watching a stage play from the center front row, just awesome entertainment..

If you're a fan of action Chinese movies that includes some sci-fi elements then this will not disappoint. I found this entertaining.

Matt Damon is one of my favorite actors so I just had to watch it, plus it looked decent. Definitely worth the rent but not to own.

I have always wanted to watch this movie in 4K as it is full of special effects and action packed. When they put this movie on sale, I immediately bought it. And it was worth it!

The 4K addition really stands out...this is an entertaining movie with plenty of eye candy...Sit Back relax and just enjoy.

Special effects are great on this movie, need a 4K TV and player to really enjoy this movie on the 4k version.

Really liked the 4k details, especially with the great special effects. Plot was so-so, but overall enjoyable movie.

The movie is just alright but the color schemes in it are fantastic so if you are going to purchase this movie and use 4k then you must purchase this movie in Ultra HD 4k!

I really liked The Great Wall. It was awesome in 4K. The price was to good to pass up. Thanks for the deal Best Buy.

The great wall,came out in 2016 and took me till 2018 when it was on tv for me to finally watch it. So i wasn't going in with high expectations. Was i wrong, this is a good action flick. Story, meh, typical dynasty drama. But the action, was fantastic, some crouching tiger antics but slightly more grounded. (slightly) Pascal, damon, and dafoe are great as usual. The secondary casting is above par as well for a dominant Asian cast. (ask mortal kombat 2021) But the real greatness of this movie is the action. And while 4k exposes some of the dated CGI it holds up really well and looks fantastic. The main critic sites idbm,meta,rotten all have this movie as rated very low. As usual, they have no idea what their talking about. Google users have this at a 73% which is far more accurate. All and all, i give this move a solid 7, Turn on, tune in, drop out!

This didn't blow up the ratings when it came out, but it turned out to be a very good fantasy adventure, and the 4K render was quite good as well.

Fun historic movie with creatures trying to get over the wall, action packed! Fun movie for the family

I really enjoy this movie and i believe this one truly takes advantage of the 4k experience. Action packed but not one i would watch over and over
