This is The King of Fighters XIV, it's one of my favorite games I bought in 2016. There are 50 characters to choose from and they all play different. Amazing game.

I've been a fan of the KOF series, so i had to get this game. I preordered using Gamer's Club so I got 20% off. The core mechanics are awesome, I've had some issues with online play where I get disconnected. Hopefuly it will be patched, however online play is not something I do a lot. Couch multiplayer works great so i've had a great time with my friends. Graphics look somewhat outdated, but again, gameplay is King!

The biggest takeaway for this version of King of Fighters is the leap back to 3-D. I read reviews of the game prior and the biggest complaint most people had was the lifeless 3-D models when compared to the old 2-D graphics. I have to say that it is not that bad. There may be some missing charm from the old games but it's nothing horrendous. There is also a patch coming that will re-work the graphics to look even better. The character selection, gameplay, and different modes are outstanding. This is the best fighting game on the PS4. Far outclassing Street Fighter V and this is coming from a Street Fighter fan since Street Fighter II back in 1991. The biggest shortcoming for this game to me is the netcode. SNK Playmore have never put a good netcode together. If you don't plan on playing online though you won't be affected. If you're a fighting game fan pick this up right away.

I played the past game in the King of Fighters series, XIII and was pretty impressed with it. But being new to the series it all seemed a little fast. The new game slows things down a little and adds 3D character models which are great. The sheer number of characters is amazing in this type of game especially considering they all play so well and none are additional DLC purchases (hallelujah!). The game is supposed to get another big free graphical update in mid-January, so if you are new to the series I can highly recommend it. Coming from Street Fighter it is very easy to pickup and learn moves, in fact many are moves used by Street Fighter characters.

Let me begin by writing that I've enjoyed these games for many years and have been able to play every installment in the KOF series. The roster is excellent and the gameplay is extremely fun and competitive as always. My reasons for not giving this game full stars were that I felt like the main story doesn't seem to make too much sense and some endings ultimately left me scratching my head. Also, I felt the final boss was just randomly thrown in as filler. I did find the online players to be extremely creative and fun to play against most times. If you enjoy fighting games, you should absolutely give this game a try.

The game is underrated, but is one of my favorite fighters this year. Not your classic KOF with sprites, everything has been modeled 3D now. No Biggie, still looks great. The character roster is big which is a plus and lots of different modes. Only con I REALLY dislike is the auto combo button by simply mashing low punch, or low kick....Everything else is superb.

Kof 14 is the most complete fighting game to date on the next gen its fluid and fast. The graphics are not as good as most games these days but that's snk kof makes up for that with a 50 man roster you can mix and match plus it has deep fighting mechanics you can't go wrong with this one.

It might not be as polished as SFV, but it holds its own. You have a huge roster from the start and the fighting is fun an real easy to pick up. I recommend it for any fighting game lover.

This is the best KOF game to date. 50 playable characters and very tight mechanics make this a must own for fighting game fans.

Probably one of the best in this series, and it's a full featured release out the box, can't complain about that (unlike some other fighting games out there, not gonna name names, just sayin'). Gotta be said though, some of the moves and combos have such a small window to string some precise inputs (though I've got a lot working against me, i.e. - rust, age, lack of dexterity, lol).

I've been playing this game since KOF '94. I love it and has great gameplay. I cannot get past how terrible the online play is. I have one of the best internet connections and I keep getting paired up with people with hairline connection. I hope they fix this issue.

50 characters, Story mode, challenge mode, online training, Team VS, Single VS, new fighting mechanics! Don't let the ugly graphics disappoint you because the fighting mechanics are so fun!

Its a really good game. The only thing that hurts it is the online community. Because mostly the hardcore players continue to play this, the online learning curve makes it difficult especially when you are a new player.

Its been awhile since I last played any fighting games, this one is actually really fun.

This game is awesome! Graphics are great. Only thing id like to see is some more of the original characters from back in the day.

I played this game since it the early 2000's the game evolved pretty well since then and it shows in king of fighters 14

while the graphics of this game look kinda playstation 2 level. the gameplay and flow of the game as well as the amount of characters more than make up for it.

So much better than street fighter 5. Great selection of characters and the battle system is awesome.

People say its this game copied street fighter and thats a good thing and its really fun game to play
