This is one of those titles that most people know about now. The story is superb as far as I'm concerned. The updates to the graphics as well as settings is a nice touch. This is the version to play hands down. I can understand with the detractors that 70 bucks is a bit much for a nine year old game at this point. But in completing it I can see the loving attention that went into it. It is well worth it in my opinion.

This is the 3rd time ive boughten this game. One for each console since PS3, and i must say this is the best version of the game. The controls are smooth, story is always top notched, and the graphics are crisp. Even if you played this game before i recommend to play it again. Especially if saw the show on HBO give this game another try.

The story for this game is without a doubt one of the best in any video game I have ever played. The world almost coming to an end with everyone getting sick and turning into zombies. The ending was crazy. It felt like I was watching a movie and controlling the characters in. I love the stealthy combat system in here. Going up and killing zombies from behind is highly rewarding. Love the variety of weapons and areas to explore. I took my time a lot here and collected a lot more artifacts and supplements to get more trophies. This game is perfect I think length wise at around 15 hours. The music is amazing. It’s done by one of my favorite composers who also did the score for my favorite movie of all time 21 Grams. The graphics and voice acting are also really great. After playing the game I can say this is one of my favorite games of all time. Such an emotional journey and an incredible story. It’s a very dark and sad game so it may not be for everyone but it also has a lot of emotional and meaningful story that has a lot of good life lessons 9.6/10

What can I say about this game? I think I can remember most of the key conversations at this point, having played it I don't know how many times since its release in 2013, on ps3, 4, and now 5 pro.

Watched the TV series first, then just had to play the game. So glad I did, perfectly put together game between quality, controls, story, and design. Matches up very well with the series but has a lot of added more indepth parts of the story. Well worth the play through for any LOS fan of either.

I haven't played the original PS4 Remastered Last of Us game but the The Last of Us Part 1 (Remake) is so great! The graphics are truly next generation (PS5 greatness). It's breathtaking. The story is phenomenal especially the ending. The controls, tension, graphics, everything is spot on. Don't hesitate to buy this game.

Naughty Dog did an amazing job honoring the original while modernizing it for a new generation. Highly recommended for newcomers and longtime fans alike.

They improve in every way. From the graphics, to the lighting, to the way it runs so fluid. I believe this is worth getting. I do wish it was a little less pricey, But is still worth getting.

Game is amazing, best way to replay the story, even though this is the third time the game has been released it is still a 10/10. If you can wait for a sale that would be even better 70$ is pretty steep for a game that has a remaster already.

Ok, so the series starts pretty true to the game and you want to play the game before the series. Trust me. Is it a refined work of art by many of the newest games? No... But when you think it might feel a little repetitive it introduced something new that throws off your previous tactics. The story is great! The movement does feel a little clunky at time compared to some more modern games, but then again, the newer God of War Valhalla I am finding difficult to love for the same clunky reasons. It provides the traditional stealth verse guns blazing way to solve the puzzles. It is visually very pleasing and there are many details that make it feel more real. Overall a very fun game that most will enjoy!

Excellent update with the graphics. A little slow at the beginning, but as the storyline unfolds the game becomes more intriguing. This game makes it hard to put down the controller.

Amazing story, graphics and characters. This game is truly a masterpiece in survival horror. The Last of Us was a thrilling adventure that had many twist and turns that allowed the story to feel fresh even after several hours playing. The replay ability is fantastic and the added content (free I might add) is superb adding to the already thrilling story. One of the best games I’ve ever played.

Last of us... If you have to read a review to know how good of a game this is you must of been living under a rock for the last few years. By far one of the #1 Playstation games to ever be released. A must try for all gamers. Elle and Joel are the best. Story 10/10

I bought The Last of Us Part I for my son when he was 11, after he watched Season 1 of the show and got really into the story. He absolutely loved it. The game looks great, plays smoothly, and really pulled him in from the start. He enjoyed exploring the world and following Joel and Ellie’s journey, and it made him even more excited to keep going. After watching Season 2, I ended up getting him Part II as well, and he really enjoyed that one too. It’s been a great series for him to experience both as a show and through the games.

Incredible graphics and sounds. Runs like a dream and plays so smooth. One of the best games this generation. Online had been removed which is a shame but doesn't detract from this great game. Buy it!

I never played the original The Last of Us when it first came out, so experiencing it through the remaster was great. It’s easy to jump into, even after a long day of work, and the story really pulls you in. It’s also a fun game to go for achievements and the platinum trophy if you enjoy completing everything.
