Continuation of the first game (in case you can't tell from the title). Core gameplay is the same, but they've added more mobility and enhanced enemy AI to make for a more realistic scenario. Still story driven game. Has linear progression, and is not full open world similar to first game, but the levels are larger and if you explore you get more rewards/resources. Integration of story and gameplay is really good and gets you immersed in the world -Story/Plot: Story takes place 5 years after the first game where Ellie and Joel are now in a safe community and has settled down in Jackson, Wyoming. Main focus is on Ellie this time around, but you play multiple characters getting there perspectives through timeline jumps/flashbacks. Starts off with Ellie trying to uncover the truth about what happened at the end of the Last of Us (part 1) then it goes into revenge quest as opposing groups gets involved.

I’ve logged 449 hours into this game. Besides the sublime and challenging story, the gameplay is such a joy. You can play every single encounter in a different way and generate unique enemy dialogue and player move sets. Every time I play I discover something new and try out different strategies. For context I only played the first last of us for story and logged 15 hours. 449 vs 15. I’m obsessed with this game. Totally worth the first day price. And now it’s even cheaper I believe.

The Last of Us Part 2 is a masterful swansong for the PlayStation 4, and arguably the finest, most accomplished project Naughty Dog has ever embarked on. It’s far more than a traditional sequel, taking the original’s core message and expanding upon in ways that will be looked back on as brave, ambitious and undeniably controversial.

What can I say the game is mind blowing and disturbing at the same time I found myself confused into why I was so effected by the story, this game has everything a driving story . The sound and voice acting is superb. The the look is golden . It’s a candy apple Convertible corvette on prom night. “If corvettes is your thing “ ..... I’m old..... Loved it and had feelings. It was a very long game. Wish that Abbey had her own game that led up to this one. I felt conflicted having to play both characters. Both are great though. Wish it was more terrifying with some of the creatures later in the game and I wish that one creature in particular appeared at least 3 times.

There is not much to be said about this. If you did not pre-order one of the best games of all time before it was released, then this pre-order bonus has probably already passed you by. Nevertheless, The Last of Us, Part II is one of the top three games of all time, and the addition of an extended magazine for your starting gun and soundtrack? Awesome!

This wasn't really much of an incentive to pre-order tbh since I was gonna buy this game anyway. Ammo capacity upgrade and training manual, these items included I'm sure are items that would've come across your way regardless. Still though it was a nice leg up for my first campaign run.

The last of Us part II is a depressing adventure that could take you more than a day to complete. The reactions seems to be mixed on this one. I gotta say it blew me away. I wouldn't call it perfect but this is THE triple A title that only comes once a generation. Check it out!

Definitely a lot darker than the first game, but I loved the gameplay. I won’t put any spoilers in but it’s an emotional coaster for sure. Guarantee you that you’ll love it. It’s a beautiful dark twist of the last game, and it’s just a master piece. It will have you at the edge of your seats

You’re going to need a lot of ammo in this game so if you pre- ordered the game you will get an extended capacity of ammunition and a training manual. Both come in handy and if you like tattoos you also received a PSN avatar of Ellie’s tattoo. A couple of useful things for you to defeat your enemies.

The game is a wild brutal ride but this collector's edition came with so many cool things. Statue is perfect, bracelet is nifty. All kinds of extra goodies. Well worth it if you're a Last of Us fan.

The graphics are amazing, the plot is a roller coaster of emotions, if you have a softer disposition and prefer something lighter in tone I'd recommend something else. The gameplay is great and immersive, honestly zero complaints.

By far best game of the year. If your 2020 has sucked (and odds are, it has) get this game and play it. Don’t stop until it’s over! The details are impeccable the story line is second to none. It truly holds up to the “last of us” franchise name.

I'm glad that I preordered this game because I wanted the special edition version of it. For future game releases that interest you, look and see what versions you can preorder ahead of time, because it likely won't be available unless you preorder it.

First one was way better. But still a solid game. The game mechanics ran smooth but story was awful. Not just for the obvious reasons but for the lack of depth and reasonable emotion. Overall it’s a 4 star due to the story.

The last of us makes me feel like I need a bag of popcorn because I just love the story. Although this game dealt with a lot of back tracking , it got confusing but then made sense ! Still can’t believe the ending !! Crazy !

Recently pre order this game and we love it i will recommend it to anyone we got it for ps4 and works perfectly we love pre ordering from best buy any new games .. Game itself its awsome to play great graphics

This series has the best story, and it wraps up a huge emotional kick to the gut .. HUGE/GREAT BUY for those looking to escape & lose themselves in a great game ..

Love this series. And the second is just as good as the first. Most favorite series of all time bc the gameplay and cinematic cutscenes are seamless and make for a great experience.

I mean what can you say. It was a bonus for pre-ordering. Everyone likes free stuff when you were going to buy the game anyways. Specifically I wanted the steel case because they are slick
