Great game. Highly recommend. Especially if you have played the other 2

I got this as an early christmas present and only opened it up for christmas of 2020, but so far it's' a great game building off of the other Cold Steel games. It revamps a few things, and actually comes with a nice recap/overview of events and other such things to help a new comer and veteran alike. Definitely recommend if you have played any of the other Trails games.

Purchased for a good friend and he does not stop talking about it. Great game.

I got this game for my son for Christmas. He absolutely loves it.

At the time of review, this game freezes fairly often, having to quit and restart the game. Word of advice, until they update the game, save OFTEN. As the third game in this sub-series, there's a lot it catch up on if this is your starting point. There'll be plenty of references and nods that you just won't understand unless you've played the other games. There's 7 other games leading up to this, but for fans who've been there, it's a great payoff.

If you like traditional JRPGs, this is a great entry to play (especially with the price often discounted). Trails of Cold Steel I and II hasn’t been localized for the Switch yet, but those are available in English on Steam.

Falcom just became one my favorite developers since they make very engaging, addictive and fun games that you truly feel the passion they pour in each game they release.

Can't go wrong with Trails of Cold Steel. I highly recommend checking out Trails in the Sky, where it all started! Runs great on the Switch!

I like how they tell they background story from all the other games prior before playing to catch up on what happened as this is the first one on the switch

This is about as standard as JRPGs get. However the combat and writing are really fun. It’s a cool system with lots of options to customize and team up. A must for switch rpg lovers. You must like turn based action to enjoy this.

Plenty of content, great rpg setting with plenty of characters.
