Trails of Cold Steel has good turn based combat, a strong OST, and exceptional world building.

If you liked Trails in the Sky and want to know more about the Erebonian Empire then look no further than Trails of Cold Steel. Though the game can be visually rough looking, the story alone is worth every penny. This port to the PS4 even includes all the DLC for free! I promise you're in for a ride if you decide to purchase this game.

Trails of Cold Steel is one of the best RPG games to be made. From the gameplay/combat to the slice of life school lifestyle, a great entry into the JRPG category. Starts off slow, but the plot takes off if you're able to get through it. Many characters to keep track of, but the game does not let anyone just disappear into the shadows. Great first game to the series.

Great game! It's a bit text-heavy, and combat-light. If you were expecting lots of combat, look elsewhere for a different game. If you want lots of text, world-building, great voice acting, and story - then this is for you.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel is the first of a trilogy. The game is a Japanese RPG originally released on the PlayStation 3. If you missed playing the game back then and are looking for a (lengthy) role playing game, and want to see the title with upgraded graphics on the Playstation 4, now is an excellent time to get started into this series.

Having playing this on the psp as well as the ps3, the definitive ps4 version with all its 4k and 60fps graphics is the best version. I love the option to fast forward the story (if you had played the previous versions) this is useful to speed through. Graphics are smooth and game is one of the best for the ps4. Highly recommend this if you are a jrpg fan.

A good game with lots of hours of gameplay and replay ability, even with turbo mode on you'll still find yourself clocking in more than 48hrs on the first play through.

The Trails of Cold Steel series is one the best JRPG experiences I've had in quite some time. There are four games in the Cold Steel series. The series takes place in a world that also includes nine other games where mutiple stories make references to each other.

I highly recommend this to anyone who's looking for a JRPG with ton of content and interesting storytelling. This one, along with the second game will be re-relased on the PS4 in anticipation for the third game coming out later this year.

Best version out of all the versions and you get extra stuff for free like the steelbook, and other goodies. Definitely worth to get than the other versions. Really long JRPG and a huge expansive connected story. Give it a try!

I've been waiting for this for what seems like forever. Another JRPG to add to the list of classics for me. The combat system is great and never got boring for me. A+++ storytelling and world building.

ToCS is a Enviromental JRPG about military students from different class stature boding together to save the world. Do mission and earn exp. and rewards, get new skills to turn the battle around.

Played this game on the PS Vita and I loved it so much that I decided to buy it on the PS4. Cannot wait until the 2nd & 3rd games come out later this year on the PS4

Dont miss this remastered RPG, looking forward to part 2 and look for Part 3 on PS4 later this year, Legend of Heroes is a great JRPG seriee you shouldnt miss
