Definitely one of the best games of all time. My only gripe with the game is that weapons have durability.

So the game looks great. and mostly plays great. However I rate this as only average because of the Dumb item durability mechanic and the cooking mechanics. I hate item durability in games. Some people might not be bothered by it, but I am! So if you don't care about that. then it is awesome.

I loved Zelda on 64, but this is completely different. It's incredibly challenging, you have to worry about overheating, freezing, durability of weapons. Great game!

This is one of the best Zelda games. I love the open exploration. The one thing I hate is the weapons have durability and will break over time.

It's amazing. A must have for switch users. Just beware the durability of your weapons.

Breath of the Wild provides a timeless experience with an amazing world full of fun things to do. Although the durability system of the weapons is the biggest downside it requires versatility and experimentation of different weapons, instead of keeping you locked into using one weapon. Exceptional game and a proud member of the Legend of Zelda family.

'm a huge fan of open-world games. I loved Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, I loved Metal Gear V: The Phantom Pain and I loved The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The durability system kinda sucks, but it didn't ruin the game for me. Having your weapon break after just a few enemies (or a single guardian if your weapon is weak and not durable enough) is no fun and they really should have come up with a better system to get people to swap through weapons; however, the game provides you with a plentiful source of weaponry and it's easy to stock up.

Nintendo has traded a few long complicated dungeons for a lot of smaller dungeons focused on one quick puzzle. All of these are on top of a gigantic open-world. All weapons seem to have durability and can break, but there's no shortage of weapons you will find while playing through the game. While this is annoying at first, you quickly get used to it and ultimately get to experience a lot of different weapon types that you may have otherwise ignored.

Absolutely love this new Zelda game! The graphics are great, it has a wonderfully smooth art style, and great characters. The only thing I don't like is the fact that weapons have durability factors, although it does lend it a sense of realism. People have expressed disappointment with the music, saying it isn't flowy, and that it isn't Zelda-y, but the music, especially the Hyrule Castle music as you climb it, fills me with emotion, and sounds full of purpose. I LOVE the music.

I was skeptical when critics started reviewing the game and it was getting perfect scores. I am giving you my opinion on this game as a portable game because that is the only way I play my Switch. This game is fun, great art style and possibly one of the best handheld games I've played besides Pokemon silver. My only criticism was the durability of the weapons but I don't mind it anymore because you always pick up new weapons so scarcity is not an issue. Controls take some getting use to but not a deal breaker.

I find myself jumping back and forth between this and Skyrim. Zelda has way better physics anywhere from catching wooden objects on fire to cutting down trees and even harvesting apples. Here's a fun trick cut down a tree push it down hill and light it on fire . There's so many awesome ways to use the environment against your enemies. My only gripe is similar to older fallout games weapons do have a durability. Fortunately weapons are plentiful and you can even take them from your enemies.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the latest entry in Nintendo's popular The Legend of Zelda series. The game is available on both the Nintendo Switch and Wii U. I played every mainline Zelda game and was very excited to play this game. Breath of the Wild offers a large sandbox open world for players to explore and interact with. Players can choose to follow the main storyline or do other tasks/quests. There are some villages and towns with many NPCs to speak with and do side quests for. There are many items, weapons, and equipment to collect. In addition to swords, Link can also fight with axes, spears and bows. However, weapons now have durability and break quite frequently, which can be a bit annoying, but weapon drops are quite frequent. The story is on par with other Zelda games and isn't the main focus of this game. However, Breath of the Wild is the first Zelda game to feature full voice acted cutscenes.
