It really is possibly one of the best Zelda games ever. The open world is very nice and DLC will be coming this year. If you're a completionist, this will keep you very busy for a long time. If you don't have a switch, don't wait and just get this Wii U copy and play now.

I bought this game for my son's birthday and he is a avid Zelda player. He really enjoys playing this game. I have taken some time to watch him play and I'm blown away by the graphics and how open the play is.

This game is so much fun. And lots of replay value. One of the best Zelda games ever.

In my opinion, there is not better game out there than Breath of the Wild. Nintendo has created the greatest game of all time. It’s everything I want from a game, a beautiful huge open world, incredible depth, and one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had.

This new Zelda game is fun but the graphics aren't great and there's frame rate issues. I like the exploration aspect but dislike how easily the weapons break.

After the first 2 hours of the game in getting your items you ejected straight into an open world environment. Alot of non story related quests and you can hop back into the main game when you want. Difficulty is high and plays alot of Dark Souls' style deaths.

In the era of terrible nintendo games its nice when they actually get something right. It is reminiscent of twilight princess with the same fresh openness of Ocarina of Time. If you have been following the Zelda series I suggest you add this to your collection.

This is the only Zelda game I actually managed to finish. Absolutely stunning.

Grew up gaming on the Atari 7800 and the NES. Moved on to the SNES, N64, PS2, and PS3. I've played the best, Mario 3, Mario 64, Super Metroid, LTTP, SOTN, FFVII, HL2... this is amazingly, my favorite game yet. Of anything. There are no boring parts, no fetch quests, nothing that seems out of place. I hesitate to say anything is perfect, because nothing is, but this is close. Barring some framerate issues, that are infrequent, I've loved every second and minute I've spent playing this game. I've played 36 hours of the game with my wife and son in the last 10 days, more than I've spent on a game since playing FFX in 2002. It's amazing, its a once in a lifetime experience, and everyone should play it.

The artwork in this game is absolutely stunning. The controls take a bit of getting used to, but once you do, you can endlessly explore the open world concept. There are a myriad of different ways to make your way through this game. By far the best Zelda yet.

I have been looking forward to this game for years and bought a Wii U specifically for it a couple years ago (Love the Wii U for many other games as well at this point!). Zelda Breath of the Wild did not disappoint for me. It is very different than any other Zelda game but with the way games have been moving toward open world maps I am not surprised. I think it was a great move and I love exploring this map for hours on end. I have played over 50 hours and I feel like I have barely scraped the surface of what this world has to offer. Anyway, I recommend the game for anyone who loves Zelda games or just loves open world exploring games in general. I also have not seen too many FPS issues like some people have on Wii U. I do not feel like it has ever ruined anything for me. I am usually too amazed by the detail of the world to notice anyway! Buy it and you will not be disappointed!

This game combines a Zelda game with wide open exploration. More difficult then some recent Zelda games, but I've already put 80 hours into the game and I'm not even halfway done. I look forward to playing it every day. A must own for anyone who has a WiiU.

simply the best... the graphics, the story, the music, everything is great, you can climb, swim, glide everywhere, the temperature affects you, your armor and weapons. you can choose to follow the story or just do side quest or just run around everywhere

If there's DLC for this game, you won't need it. Tendy keeps dropping little hints about the Season Pass, and new items like the Korok Mask or Tingle Suit coming in the fall, but this game is loooooooaaaaaded with content. It took me nearly two months to visit all the provinces and unlock most of the shrines, by that time my eyes were swollen red! This is a landmark in videogame making, and has been reported by sites like IGN, it is fully engrossing. If you've been leering away from games for some years, BotW WILL bring you back around. Every screen save gives you a lush landscape horizon shot that just blows all others out of the water. Fun puzzles, remarkable NPCs, great costumes, endless items, fully mesmerizing battles, BotW has blown the market wide open for new Open World entries. Do not pass up this title. It is definitive. Absolutely recommended.
