My kid loves this! He has been wanting for forever and waited a long time!

This game is amazing fun for everyone! The open world lets you explore at whatever pace you like. All 4 of my boys and I loved this game. Its not often that a game entertains my whole family. With such an age difference, that's a huge accomplishment!

Cannot recommend this game enough. The open world is amazing. Reminds of Ocarina of time...and the long nights I stayed up as a kid trying to defeat dungeon after dungeon. WII U version holds up nicely, no need to buy a Switch if you already have a U.

This is the first time I've felt truly immersed in a Zelda game in years. Like most people I fell in love with the original Zelda on Adventures of Link NES and A Link to the Past on SNES. While I've liked all the iterations in between, they never captured the original magic of the original game(s). Breath of the Wild does, and while doing so adds some elements that remind me of some other modern games that I really enjoy. The game has charm, fun puzzles, a great combat system, a good story, beautiful graphics, and awesome gear to collect and upgrade. The game plays well on WiiU and the controls feel solid. I've played mostly on the WiiU GamePad for portability around my house, so I presume Switch owners will be in heaven being able to take the game on the road. Breath of the Wild is simply the best game I've played in a long, long time.

Definitely Japanese style open world game. Reminds me of Metal Gear Solid V to an extent as you run around an open world and come across camps/guard posts. The destructible weapon system take some getting used to and is not my favorite. Lots of open world to run through with little to no music and can get boring at times. Hyrule looks beautiful though. Nintendo had to make a game to compete to stay relevant and I think they were successful overall. But, it doesn't really feel like Zelda and that was a problem for me as a fan since the original.

Although there are lots of really good Zelda games, this one by far is my favorite. The world looks amazing, lots of peaceful exploring, creating recipes, and a full story line. Since I already have the Wii U, it was an easy purchase. I love it!

I would have to say this is the best Legend of Zelda game to date.

If you like Zelda or any open world games or both, this game is a must! Huge open world, do whatever you want, whenever you want! Want to climb mountains and snowboard down the mountain on your shield? Go for it! The game is amazing!!

Seriously, there's nothing wrong with this game. It's kind of hard, but rewarding. Go anywhere, do anything, die, discover, fight, solve puzzles, be surprised, be amazed. Extremely fun, beautiful, awesome story and vivid characters.

As a long time Zelda fan the question is often "Which Zelda game is the best?". That's always been hard to answer. Sometimes it's Ocarina of Time. Sometimes its A Link To The Past. If I'm in a weird mood: Majora's Mask. Now the question is no longer which Zelda is best, but "Is Breath of the Wild is the best game of all time." I can't fully answer that. Even though I've spent well over 100 hours in this version of Hyrule, I've been putting off the final confrontation with Ganon. What I can say is that it is a game full of joy and excitement, wonder and beauty. I'd recommend it to my young nephews and my oldest gamer friends. Whether you want to speed through it or just wander around collecting ingredients and cooking new recipes, Breath of the Wild is a delight from start to finish.

My daughter loves this game. She is a big Zelda series fan and is completely impressed with the level of detail the game has. We also like it's availability on the Wii U as we wait for a Switch. Awesome graphics and story line.

I have played many Zelda games, and have loved all of them. I haven't even beat this game yet, but I can already tell that this game takes the cake. There are SO many things to do in this game, and the open world is beautiful.

Seriously this game is awesome. If you have a sense of adventure and like to discovering the unknown than this game is for you. The puzzles will keep you entertain for hours. So take your time and you will have a blast. And this game will not hold your hand, because the game believes in your intelligence to succeed. And another thing is that this game allows to use the environment to your advantage, but at the same time it can harm you so pay attention to your surroundings. So in conclusion have fun because you deserve an incredible game to play and this game delivers with its beautiful art graphical direction, wonderful game mechanics, and enjoyable characters that you will meet. This world is your to explore. So enjoy the freedom and play until your heart's content.

Great game but I like the old style Zelda games better the open-world that was really cool looking I don't like the whole weapons breaking thing I hate having to worry about whether or not I'm going to die because I ran out of weapons but it is a fun game and it looks beautiful even on the Wii U if you do pick up a Wii U to play this game there are a lot of other great Games too. Too bad they are not making more but you can get all kinds of old games through the Nintendo store as a digital download.
