Works great and runs just fine on the Wii U. Great game that allows freedom and exploration. The puzzle shrines are fun and I like the game, but I think it's about a 8.5 out of 10, not a perfect 10 like many reviews.

Great world, a lot of things to do and see and explore. Nowhere near seeing everything, but I'm impressed. Puzzles are great as ever for this Zelda game, and the shrine mini puzzles work pretty well as a quick-play mechanic to progress through the game. Suits itself to mobile play - would really prefer this on Switch, but finding one of those is still nigh impossible. But seriously, I can destroy 3-4 weapons fighting a single, non-boss enemy sometimes. And with as many weapons as you pick up and get rid of, you'd think there would be a quick drop feature from the quick weapon switch menu. Some big oversights in an otherwise amazing game.

Zelda has been with me since my childhood, these games have always been part of my game collection and I do not regret a single bit buying this game. One of the best Zelda games out there without a doubt.. I have spent hours and hours playing it and still loving it.

The Legend of Zelda is by far my favorite video game series, I grew up on the greatest of OoT and MM. Breath of the Wild might very well be the best in the series. Gaming perfection, if you ask me. Must play for any owner of a Switch or Wii U. 10/10

Its probbaly the last game made for the wii u and one of the best released . too bad the wii u was short lived. Its such a great system. anyways i say this zelda next to twilight princess is my fav!

I loved Zelda because it was different than other games. I started back in the day long ago with the first one, and have played every game. Now they have ruined it. I do not like that your weapons break and you have to have too many of each weapon, and figure out what weapon should I use. I do not like the stamina bar. I do not want to have to collect things and make food to heal my health. For animal lovers like me, I do not like that you have to kill animals to get meat for things like health etc... though you can get around that. The dungeons are not dungeons any more. They are basically just puzzles, with only a couple monsters, and then you have to fight the boss after you active the terminals. The open world is fine, I do not have an issue with that. Not thrilled with the graphics either. If you are the newer generation you will probably love it. My son does. This will probably be my last Zelda, if this is what we are going to get from now on. It's not the game I came to love, which is too bad, as was hoping to be able to play new Zelda games for another 20 years. Guess I will be playing the old ones over and over. Zelda is the mostly the only game I would play, and that is gone now. I did debate on giving it a 4, as there are some good points. Long old time loyal Zelda fan, until now. Can't say enough how disappointed I am.

I have played most of the zelda games. Zelda BTW is just a different type of zelda game with the same feel of the older Zelda games. Basically it is just fun.

This is one of the best Zelda adventures I have ever played and I haven't scratched the surface of this game!

Huge fan of the franchise and this doesn't disappoint. Only downside is for WIU be sure to have multiple profiles so you can have different save points like normal. The way this works is that it autosaves last 10 mins of play as snapshots in 90 second increments (total of about 7 files). Can cause problems if have someone over that just wants to try from beginning, etc if don't leverage multiple profiles.

Great game, open world without a lot of the issues you see w/ other games in the genre.

This is one of the best Nintendo games of all time.

Making link right handed again, doesn't make any sense. There is no motion control for this game so why are they not sticking to tradition.Ugh, huge Zelda fan here and I'm upset on that part, that's like making Mario have no mustache to me. Other then that it looks like a great game. Be prepared for a better version to come out for the new system though.

this game will just eat up all your time. loads of fun and I'm so glad it's on the Wii u so I didn't have to buy a switch to play it.

If you love Zelda you will love this game. If you own a switch this is a must have game.
