This game is literally a masterpiece. Literally. A. Masterpiece. This is hands down the best, biggest, most innovative game since Ocarina of Time. The music is gorgeous, the graphics are amazing, the entire thing is literally an experience. Seriously, it got 98 on metacritic for a reason.

...if you even remotely like console gaming and have a pulse - you have to get this. there's literally not a game from the last few years that even comes close to the quality of this game (save for a few performance hitches). Nintendo saved the company and this franchise w/ this one...

I own both the switch and Wii U versions of this game and I can honestly say that they are basically exactly the same... Perfect 10's so just grab whatever version is best for you! You don't need to upgrade to switch for this game alone! However, you need to grab this game for sure! Now!

First off, there is no difference between this game and the switch except the portability of the new console. This is like no other in the series, but is reminiscent of the original. Exploring and discovering is the main point of the game, and it's done so well you will never get bored.

A long time Zelda fan, and this game is different but has so many aspects of previous games still; it's really an all-in-one package. I do wish there was a more variety of bosses and shrines but it's absolutely breathtaking. From story line to the color palette, it's a magnificent game.

I've been playing Zelda games since the first one came out on the NES. It's my favorite game series, and this one has quickly risen to the top of my favorite Zelda games. If you're a fan of Zelda, or looking for a good entry point to the series, you may as well start with the best.

Been playing the game for weeks and I can't believe how amazing the graphics and gameplay are. Looks like reviews online say the same thing and the nice bonus is I didn't need to buy the Switch to get it since the graphics are basically the same on the Wii U. Can't put this game down!

I bought this game for my 14 year old son. My 19 also wanted the game. Since purchasing this game I have seen my kids at breakfast, dinner and bed time. They spend most of their waking time playing this game or watching each other plan. I guess that means that it's a pretty good game.

Its a good game. I find it to give you that sense of wonder you want but lacks the story and drive that classic Zelda games give you. The weapon degradation is also terrible.

Excellent game! It's open world and pretty challenging compared to past titles in the series, which is good. The frame rate takes some hits sometimes, but still a great game

What else can I say, this is by far the most entertaining zelda game Nintendo has ever made

Nintendo has finally stopped rehashing that same old gameplay tropes and traditions and created a truly modern Zelda game. This is the best in the series and a great experience for anyone, regardless of your level of familiarity with Zelda games. I cannot recommend this game enough.

A cousin of mine wanted me to preorder this game for them. They absolutely love it and I would recommend it for any parent looking to get their kid a new video game. It's clean, as the Zelda series is, and there are a lot of new features and abilities that they will enjoy playing.

Interactive environmental systems + tons of things to do makes the first 30 hours of this game the best open world game I've ever played. If you try to 100% it, you will burn out because there is too much to do. Simply go where exploration takes you, don't treat it as a checklist.

I have played the game for nearly 30 hours and have only covered but about 10% of the world. I am following the quest as much as I can but with all the distractions it is easy to just head off and explore. You definitely get rewarded when you explore. I found this cave on top of a waterfall that had a flame sword in it with a bunch of precious minerals. It was not easy to get to the rock wall that would allow you to climb and when it is raining or wet you just slide back down. Oh I rode a bear. He tried to maul me but I was able to get on and settle him down long enough that he was my means of transportation for a while. The more you play and the more you explore the stronger your character will be. I am looking forward to exploring the other 90% of the world and seeing what other adventures are hidden just around the corner or on top of the next mountain. I cannot say it enough how large the world is and how fun it is the begin another adventure as Link.

Loved Zelda of old, loved the Zelda of the new age even more. The open world, vast challenging tasks at hand and many side quests make for hours of fun, enjoyable gaming. Have played all the console versions of Zelda from the first to the last and loved them all!

10/10 the goty for 2017. You will like this game if you like open world adventure games.

Zelda lives on! I played Zelda as a kid (the original) and I bought Breath Of The Wild for my daughter, one small problem. We both want to play and only have one Wii-u. Open world RPG, scouring the lands is very rewarding and magical! Gameplay is well worth the cost of the game.
