Awesome game. True to Zelda, but many new an amazing mechanics and unpredictable encounters. Works great on the WiiU...if you just want to play this game, go for the cheaper option and play on the WiiU gamepad and wait on the Switch.

Superb game. If you still own a wii get Zelda for it instead of buying a switch to only play this game. It's hours of fun and a masterpiece in its own right. It's certainly worth the price of admission and belongs in your collection.

I was hesitant to buy this game since all of the reviews stated it is a major time sink and I didn't have much time to play. After playing however, I am able to play for an hour here and there and I have a difficult time putting it down. The world is huge and full of things to do. You can conquer shrines, collect items for cooking food/making elixers, defeat camps, or just revel in the beauty of the landscape. I read tons of reviews and the weapon breakage came up as a debate between liking and not liking. I personally like it. It adds difficulty to choosing which weapon to use or save for later. Playing on the Wii U there are occasional slow downs but they're rare and don't affect gameplay much. Could continue on describing the game but I'm going to play some more.

If you love Zelda and have been playing this game since you were a kid, I HIGHLY recommend you pick it up. The gameplay is awesome and the scenery is a delight to look at. Hours of gameplay and more DLC coming soon from Nintendo.

This game is one of the best I've played. Challenging and fresh new game play while still feeling like the Zelda games I played as a kid. The size of the game will leave you with hours and hours of enjoyable adventure and discovery.

This is hands down the best Zelda game ever. The new gameplay and new formula works brilliantly. And I have never been so excited about voice acting in a Zelda title. Must own!!

This is hands down the best game I have ever played! Every spare minute I have I am playing. I love the freedom to explore as I want, complete quests when and how I want to. Love the simple, and spare storyline. Beautiful graphics.

The exploration was so much fun and the world was awesome. Only downside was the story is pretty bland and the end fight was lackluster. However, this game deserves all the praise it got and will keep you busy for a long time.

I bought this game for my son and have not played it by myself, but my son is saying that this is the best game he ever played on nintendo platform. The graphic on the game looks awesome!! even though I have not played it yet....

Ordered this from Best Buy when Amazon abruptly delayed my order for no apparent reason. Arrived on release day. 100+ hours later, I'm happy to say BoTW is one of my favorite games of all time.

This game is awesome. Truly a work of art. Big open world to explore allows you to complete the story at your own pace. Just like any Zelda game, it's filled with collectibles. Also, lots of side quests. Buy this game.

I pre ordered this item and picked it up from the store and immediately went home and played for hours. I have since had a hard time not playing the game. It is very immersive and interactive, best Zelda game I have ever played!

I am not a hard core Zelda fan, but i have played a few and liked them all. Breath of the wild is on a whole different level! From the vast land of Hyrule, the beautiful art style, to the great story you wont be disappointment.

Breath of the Wild breaks from the conventional Zelda mold to create a vast open world adventure game. It's probably not as great as the 97 metacritic suggests, but it is certainly a high ranking contender for Game of the Year.

This was the last Wii U game I bought before getting a switch but it is well worth it. It is virtually exactly the same as the switch version so I didn't feel like I was missing out. Great exploration title.

This is just down right an amazing game. I simply can not believe how massive this game really is and how much exploring there is. It truely is hard to stop playin once you start. Well catch you later I gotta go play some more.

The latest Zelda opens up a post-Calamity Hyrule to be fully and completely explorable from the moment you hit the ground. I've been captivated for hours and the fresh DLC has pulled me back in to a whole new play through!

like always Zelda games deliver a great gaming experience.
