Huge open world that you can immediately explore but I would recommend leveling up and getting some experience first. The game is beautiful but frames sometimes drop. I don't like the fact that the weapons have health bars but you have large inventory space. This game will probably win GOTY.

This is a really good game. Although I'm old school and I prefer my favorite Zelda which is the first, you won't be disappointed with breath of the wild!

Zelda has largely been a great series, this is no exception. This brings a lot of the appeal of the older Zelda games and adds some cool open world concepts and unique enemies. My son loves this game, and I'm a big fan as well. Just so much content to offer in quite a polished package.

A couple of things that make it a little tricky to aim, but the game itself is solid, and there's a lot of little side quests that make it less linear than most games made today.

looked at reviews between the wii u and switch and other than visually did not see the need to get the switch and buy the game on a different system. The game is well designed, controls for wii u are very good, like the pro controller. The world is vast and most everything is interactive.

This is a great game and a great entry to the Zelda franchise. While there are some performance issues in certain areas (many of which have been resolved with the most recent patch), none of that takes away from the enjoyment of exploring Hyrule and all of the secrets it has in store.

Exploration gets a bit dull after the first few hours. Dungeons left a lot to be desired, number of different enemies is very small compared to previous titles. First Zelda to have voice acting, hopefully the last.

The easiest comparison is Zelda meets Skyrim. I've played for hours and feel like I've barely scratched the surface. You're completely free to explore any part of the game at any time, as long as you have the gear to survive, and with the quest tracker this never feels overwhelming.

My 10 year old is absolutely LOVING this game! It offers a bit of a challenge and critical thinking, but it's very appropriate for his age group. My husband has called it "Skyrim for Kids" repeatedly based on the style of game play and the appropriateness of tasks and quests.

This game is as unique and fun as it looks in the trailers. My only complaints are that it wasn't as challenging to complete the story and side missions as I hoped. There is an option coming with the DLC that allows you to play on hard mode and I will definitely be trying that. I also thought there should I recommend this game to anyone who likes to explore open world games with a mix of peaceful areas and challenging areas. If you are looking for a real challenge though I suggest either getting the hard mode setting when it comes out or setting a rule for yourself such as only acquiring 6 hearts.

I have been playing this game almost none stop since its release and I have got to say it is possibly the best zelda yet. My only complaint is that the sound track is easily forgettable. I actually can't remember a single song even though I have been playing for hours on end.

The Zelda games are my favorite Nintendo games and this one is no exception. A whole new twist on the Zelda formula, it’s an open world and it’s huge! It looks great and plays like a cross between previous Zelda games and something like Assassins Creed.

Excellent game. It feels like one of the rare instances that an adventure game actually feels like an adventure. There is such an incredible lack of guidance and getting to the top of a tower and being able to craft your own little mini-objectives sets a great gameplay flow.

Prepare for a big change from other Zelda games, this one is much more expansive and gameplay is very different. Would've liked a blend of the world exploring with better dungeons, but hard to fault a game this ambitious. I'm still working my way through this.

best Zelda of all time? I cant say that but great to say the least .. hours and hours of fun to be had with this! love the free roaming aspect!

Initial thoughts are this game is another solid Zelda release. Don't know how I feel about inventory wearing out so fast. Very large worlds and challenging enemies.

I have been playing this game for a good couple weeks now, and while I don't get to play a whole lot; it's everything you'd expect from the series. Huge open world play, tons of side missions. I love that you can save at any point in the game and pick right back up later.

This is on of the best Zelda games for the Wii u. This game is the same as the switch version. This game can be played on the touch pad.

Didn't get a switch yet, so bought the WiiU version instead. After watching the comparison to the switch version they were comparable. As far as the game is concerned it is really fun and engaging four hours in.. Definitely recommend it if you are a fan of the series
