I really enjoy this game. The controls are on point. If you think of something that you might be able to do try it and 90% of the time it's possible. Open world that has big spaces without anything to do so when you come across a point of interest feels like true discovery. No waypoints telling you where to go just free exploration you can decide to fight the end boss after the brief tutorial. This is possibly the best rpg in recent years. If you don't have a wi u or switch, this game is worth buying one to experience. I could go on and on. 10/10 a true masterpiece that set a new standard for open world RPGs.

Have played every Zelda game from the NES area, as well as many other games across various platforms. Rarely do games fill me with such a sense of wonder or pure enjoyment as this game does. There are certainly better "technical" games, and plenty of other games that do similar things, but I can think of very few other games that I have as much fun playing as this one. Do yourself a favor and go into this game without looking up lots of guidance and tips. Getting stuck and figuring out how to proceed on your own, given the tools and skills at your disposal is part of what makes this game so charming. Love it.

I love the gameplay it's open and so much to see and do it's amazing the controls take some getting used to but overall I am liking this new take on a great game siries

Open world. More free and storyline is less spelled out than other Zelda games, but it works very well. 20 hours in and it is very fun. Maybe half the map is uncovered.

I’ve been waiting for years for this game to come out!! Great story and very long story mode and open world so you can start gaming however you want.

Started off eh about the game, so much death and controls were different. But if you keep pushing through, everything clicks and it's almost impossible to not love.

This is the best Zelda ever and one of the best Nintendo games ever made! I've bought this game 3 times!!! I got my son a copy(Wii U), my nephew a copy(Wii U), and myself a copy(Switch). Both the Wii U and Switch version are master piece and only thing different between the two version is the switch has more sound effects that you don't even notice missing on the Wii U. Game is beautiful, controls work perfect on both version, and all around fun no matter how long you play it. Stop reading and buy this game now!!! Don't waste any more of your time thinking just do! 10/10 Best ZELDA BUY NOW!

This game is truely amazing! We have been playing this game as a family and take turns controlling Link. The ability to climb anything and go anywhere is awesome.

This game is everything I expected it to be with the long wait in between games. It looks awesome and the story is great. Finally the gameplay is easy and fluent.

Zelda and open world were meant for each other. Lots of side quests to do, including over 100 shrines (which go towards helping you increase your stamina bar and hearts) and (I believe) 900 Korok Seeds to find (which can go towards increasing your inventory). The story itself is intriguing, but I've gotten so lost in exploring the world, that I haven't gone beyond the tutorial missions as far as the story goes. Item breakage is annoying, but from what I've been reading/hearing, that isn't so much of a problem later in the game. Highly recommend to fans of Zelda games and RPGs in general.

I really enjoyed this game. It is so fun to explore all the things. So much content, so much replay value. Any fan of adventure RPGs or Zelda will love it.

Horizon Zero Dawn deserved Game of the Year this year, but Breath of the Wild is also a gorgeous, well-made game that is fun to play with my son.

Breath of the Wild is already the highest rated game in recent decades, and for good reason. This game will blow you away with the size of the world and how interactive it all is. Some open world games go for size but forget to make it interesting -- that's where Zelda BotW succeeds. There is so much to do and you can play around with different weapons, use stealth or go full on attack mode, and discover multiple ways to approach any situation. Everything can be climbed, everything has a purpose or function, and the game is challenging like no other recent Zelda game has been.

Zelda Breath Of The Wild is mostly known for being a Switch launch title, but everyone who has a Wii U should know that they've been waiting in excitement/agony for a Zelda game to come out for Wii U since the initial announcement trailer. After many delays it is here, and well I'm sure you've heard, it's one of the best games of this generation. It sets a new template for the Zelda series to follow much like Ocarina Of Time did for the Zelda series. This game will last a long time, and almost every moment is complete bliss, it's definitely an experience you want to have.

Fun for the whole family. Great gameplay, fun world to explore. Challenging but not so much so that it isn't accessible and fun for kids as well as adults.

This game is amazing. Very different than other Zelda games, but that's not a bad thing. Huge open world with loads to do. Very good puzzles. Very open ended, lots of ways to play the game. The WIi U version is just fine, no need to go out and buy a Switch for this game if you already have WIi U. Some minor cons, the framerate dips below 30 in places (this happens on Switch too), the soundtrack is minimal by Zelda standards, there are no themed traditional dungeons, and the weapon durability can be annoying at times (but I think it works out alright). Overall 9.5/10.

I've been a fan of the Zelda games since original NES. Great game play, graphics and story! Definitely a winner.

The game is great. I've played a few zelda games, mostly on NES and game boy and love them. This one, however, is one of the best open world rpg games I've had the fortune of playing. It has it all, from different variations of the many monsters with varying levels of difficulty and weapons to the crafting system and shrines to level up your health and stamina. If your a fan of Zelda, open world rpg games, or just great games than this is a must have.

I bought this for myself, but as I was trying to get my girlfriend into gaming she picked this game up and loved it. I watch her play and help try and figure out the puzzles with her. It's pretty cool. The only thing I don't like that much is the weapons get destroyed after you use them for too long. I'd rather just earn better and better weapons that all last forever. Regardless she's put over 120 hours into it and that's saying a lot considering that she "doesn't game" lol.

This Zelda game is so vast, you wont be disappointed. Great graphics, awesome controls and a compelling story. Must buy for the Wii U.
