Customers are overwhelmingly positive about the gameplay, open world, and exploration in "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," praising the fun and engaging experience and vast content. However, customers expressed some negative feedback regarding weapon durability and occasional performance issues, such as frame rate drops. Wow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So... this game... this game has been an incredible experience since I’ve started. I may not be an everyday player, but can say in full confidence, it’s the best story and game to come into my possession yet.

Really good game 9/10
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It exceeded my expectations. Only issue I have with the game is the frame rate drops that happen. But overall excellent game.

A Different Kind of Zelda
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We didn't feel like purchasing a Switch just to play this game, so we got the Wii U version. I was hoping that it would take advantage of the dual screen setup the Wii U provides, letting you have your map or your items always on the control pad screen while the gameplay was on your TV, but alas it seems like the Wii U version is a port of the Switch version and not the other way around. Which means that there was never a Zelda game originally designed just for the Wii U - which I think is the first time in the series that that has happened. NES had Zelda and Zelda II, SNES had a Link to the Past, N64 had Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, GameCube had WindWaker, Wii had Skyward Sword. Twilight Princess was originally released on two platforms like Breath of the Wild, but at least each of those platforms had their own games too. That being said, this is a whole different kind of Zelda game - cooking food, breaking weapons, nonlinear story - it's like an Elder Scrolls game with Zelda characters in it. Which is neat - even after you "beat" the game, you can go back and keep exploring the world. Days and days of play.

Just as good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes, there's a Switch version, but if you have the WiiU, you'd be hard pressed to find a difference. Fantastic game.

Beautiful new adventure game in Zelda series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my 7-year-old grandson for his birthday and he loves it. It has beautiful graphics and the adventure seems very playable with lots to explore and do. He really likes making recipes for foods, elixirs and potions and collecting various items. I like the Zelda games because while they feature fighting (and most games do, these days), it is not terribly graphic or bloody.

Wonderful game for all ages.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have played the game for a few hours and have enjoyed every minute. It is classic Zelda introducing itself to todays generation. The environment is meant to be just as playable as the main character Link. Which I did not expect from this title. Get ready for many long hours of hacking your surroundings along with being annihilated in battle a lot! Overall, I am very pleased with the new Zelda, even though the story has not changed since I was a boy. (But it doesn't need to change)

One of the best Zelda games ever made
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's been a long time since I've played a game that gives me a sense of discovery and adventure as much as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild does. Getting lost in Hyrule is something I've thought about since I was a kid and this game gives you the tools and the freedom to do it. The only thing I can hold against it is that there's fairly regular framerate drops that can be distracting, but the game is still playable. I can't recommend this game enough. Get lost in Hyrule.

Best Zelda game ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't been able to put this game down. From the moment I started playing it, I fell in love with the game. The graphics are great, and the storyline is too. You have to make your own food, your weapons break, the map is huge. I can't stop exploring. And when I'm not playing, I'm thinking about what I will do next. Best game of the year in my opinion. I would like to add that I'm almost 40 years old. If you loved Zelda during your childhood, you will love this even more

Despite issues on Wii U, it's a fantastic game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this on the Nintendo Switch, but also got it on the Wii U because that is why I initially got a Wii U (but rarely played ever). It's the same game on the switch other than the frame rate and quality. But nonetheless it is a great game that everyone should experience. Amazing open world role playing game and my first experience in the Legend of Zelda series. Watch game reviews if you want more in-depth information, but this is a great game that I highly recommend.

Another great entry
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While Breath of the wild is not my favorite Zelda (Any other Majoras Mask fans?). It is definitely a great entry in the long running Zelda games. I personally have been playing them since NES, though skipped SNES and portable titles (due to being a broke kid back then, now a broke adult; ha!). The weather and temperature effects are really neat. Though trying to harness the power of lightning during a storm by raising my metal sword to the sky has gotten me killed (twice). The real enjoyment comes from it being open, can go conquer dungeons in any order (with the right equipment) in the same sense as you could in the original Legend of Zelda. I was not really a fan of skyward sword personally, probably the lowest on my list of Zelda titles I've played, Breath of the wild probably sits third. Majoras Mask, Twilight Princess and then Breath of the Wild. I spent quite a bit of time in the game and bought it again for Switch so my wife could play while I am playing on the Wii U.

Great Open-World Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a phenomenal game. I really enjoy the different open-world experience. It is a little difficult to adjust to the freedom of this game. You get most of Link's abilities within the first area. While one of the biggest draws to the game is its freedom, I found myself wandering in new areas a little too early. it is easy to spend significant time travelling to an area, only to find that you are not strong enough to complete anything there. Overall, still a great game.

Great Game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finished this game within 5 days of game play and while I enjoyed the game a lot, there were certain parts of the game where I feel a bit disappointed. The game started out pretty frustrating with the amount of weapons breaking but by the end I thoroughly enjoyed that aspect (especially with the survival island.) It ended up as probably one of my favorite things about the game. The large world is fun to explore but the amount of climbing and walking makes the game a little boring at times. Though being about to search for little imperfections for Koroks helped with the boredom for some time. The biggest negative I have to say for the game is the fact that the final boss fight took me barely three minutes to finish. The Divine Beast make the final fight really easy. I only used the Master Sword and a Bow the entire fight even though I had stock pilled extra weapons incase the sword ran out of power and ton of health foods; which I barely used. Other than that I really enjoyed the game but I don't think its something I could play through over and over.
