Such a fun game. I love the open world concept. Great addition to the Zelda world!

This is a great send off for the Wii U and an excellent entry in the Zelda franchise.

This is a fantastic open-world game that manages to feel completely new while also remaining true to the Legend of Zelda spirit. Would very highly recommend.

Simply put, this is one of the most amazing games I've ever played. It brings back the spirit of exploration from when I played the original 30 years ago. Enough has been said in other reviews about how great the game is, so I won't go in to more, but it is definitely worth full price. I'm very lucky to have gotten a copy. Even my wife has fallen in love with the game and played more than I have!

I would have to say this is one of the best Zelda games yet for newer generations. I still love the original, but as far as the new console or Wii U this one is great. Very open world feel and lots of RPG elements make this one to play. Wii U version I purchased plays the game just as well as the new Switch so don't be fooled into getting a Switch yet, you can still enjoy this game on the Wii U.

Great Zelda game as usual. I bought the Wii U version as I was not interested in getting a new system again just for one game. The graphics, quality and features where still awesome regardless. I was hooked on this game which is why i just posted a review. I picked this up in-store and they had plenty of this in stock which was great, good job Best Buy with having enough available in store.

This game exceeding every expectation I had for it. You can climb any surface and go anywhere from the beginning. I say it takes the wonder of solving puzzles from the very first Zelda game and applies it to the entire world in Breath of the Wild. I wish those that didn't own a Wii U or Switch could experience this because I could argue this is up in the category of best games of all time.

I am a huge Zelda fan, I own them all (except the old CDI games that Panasonic made). This game grabs my attention and keeps me interested better than most of them and it has enough nostalgia to make you feel appreciated as a longtime fan - but doesn't over do it for the new players. Well balanced fighting and great physics engine. Other than the frame rate dips, this game is perfect.

First thing I did in this game is what I've done in all Zelda games, tried to climb walls and mountains. For the last 30 years I was dissapointed, being able to scale practically anything elevates this game beyond belief. It sounds so simple but it really is a game changer. It's easy to forget how amazing this title is when you focus on going places you never could in other titles.

If you love exploration, this game is for you. One of my favorite Zelda games.

I have been having an immense amount of fun with this game. There are some changes that never appeared in previous Zelda games and required some getting used to. All in all, This game is great. I also watched side-by-side comparisons of the Wii U vs. Switch with this game and the difference is imperceptible during gameplay. In fact, the Wii U version had a more consistent framerate

Definitely not a perfect game, but one of the best ever made! This game revolutionizes the way an open world game should be made...but sacrifices the traditional linear storytelling as a result. All the accolades are fully deserved, pick this up and play it folks! Then, get ready for a sequel that will be equally as amazing!

I decided to purchase this game on my Wii U as a sort of sendoff for the system. Breath of the Wild took me back to my early days as a gamer- when the original Legend of Zelda was released on the NES back in the 80s. It has mysteries to be explored and nuggets of truth and treasure to discover. All in all a very fun and transfixing experience.

One of the longest-running active series is reborn with Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Easily one of the most fun and addicting games I've ever played (since nearly 30 years ago). Worth every bit of the $59.99 MSRP. Switch version handles better than the Wii U version...fewer framerate drops, and better draw distance and higher-resolution textures on the Switch version.

If you own a Wii U and don't feel like spending $300 on a new system, it would be irresponsible not to buy this game. Everything about this game is well done, and while it diverges in style from previous games in the series, it still feels familiar. If you get a switch buy it for Switch, but from what I've heard the Wii U version is basically identical, and also worth buyin.

This was a gift for my son. He loves it. Great graphics and story line.

I have decided to pick this item on the Wii U instead of the switch since it made no sense to me to spend another $326 at the moment while both games run the same. The game itself is amazing. I love being able to go everywhere so early in the story. Every time I continue this game I stay up past midnight, it's that much fun and that makes it hard to put down the controller.

I am a Legend of Zelda fan, and I purchased the Wii U in anticipation of this game being released. It took forever to release, and I had Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD released to tide me over (and even re-played Skyward Sword). I must say, Breath of the Wild is a fantastic game! I have spent dozens of hours on the game and feel like I have only scratched the surface.
