What a fantastic game. Everything about it is seamless, apart from the Frame rates which doesn't hinge the experience at all. A must buy!

What a fun Zelda game!! The only big downside is that it felt like it ended just as it was starting up. I beat the game in a little over 5 hours of gameplay. It was fun, just very short-lived. Definitely not a game I'd spend full price on. Get it when it is <$40, granted it ever got that low.

As a fan who recently lost his game boy saves from the battery dieing... This is a great way to replay it. It feels almost exactly like it did before but with a cute 3D art style. You could almost say it's... Dreamlike. For newcomers. It's likely the strangest Zelda ever made. With so many Mario enemies present in places it's definitely still surreal. And it's well worth the 60 dollars. If you lamented not getting a classic Zelda with breath of the wild in 2017... This is just what the doctor ordered.

I have never played Links Awakening before. Even though I’m a Zelda fanatic, this one was part of the few Zelda games I never played. Well, i got this one as a Christmas present but I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I did. Man, it’s crazy how they did this game on a gameboy. The jump technique really gives the 2d formula of Zelda a much needed variety and it’s crazy how they never returned to this formula over the years. I really recommend this game for everyone, even young kids.

It’s an awesome, fun game! I definitely like the different style which makes it wayyyy different than Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Obviously a remake, but a nice solid classic Zelda game. I don't love the new dungeon builder but the rest of the game was very fun to play through and complete.

Great for all ages, and gives a look at the original GameBoy Zelda game from a new perspective! This is a great tool for an 8-10 year old to learn problem solving skills, thinkign out of the box, and following directions. Purchasing it from Best Buy was simple and convenient. They had the best pric eon thsi game as well!

This game is exactly what any adult that enjoys well made games should be looking for. The challenging toy land that you are placed into is matched only by the beautiful design of the landscape. It feels like you put on a pair of rose colored glasses and popped in ANY game from the 90s. First time playing this game old or new and I feel as though this game makes our modern games look pathetic in comparison to how effortless the flow of the game is

Absolutely loving this game and was thinking that this is the perfect game for introducing your son or daughter to the world of Zelda. The dungeons aren’t terribly challenging but not a breeze either. The owl guides Link in a fairly straightforward manor and the map unfolds in a logical way without the risk of getting lost. The graphical style is great and overall I’m just really enjoying it. Very glad I picked it up!

    A Classic Remake!

Based on the classic Game Boy Color game, Link's Awakening fixes a lot of small problems with the original. You have better access to your inventory now instead of constantly switching back and forth to equip items. There are also no loading screens like in the GBC version, so everything now is interconnected. However, when you move into a new area the game goes from 60fps to about 30 FPS in order to load all assets of the area that you're in. It is a slight annoyance at first but you soon get used to it after a while. Hopefully this occurrence gets somehow patched out later on, but it doesn't ruin the experience though. There are a couple of new goodies here and there in this remake but for the vast majority the game is how you remembered it back in the day. The art style for this game at first may seem to not be a good choice, but it suits it considering it was an old GBC game. Objects and towns look like they were beautifully handcrafted in a claymation kind of way, with background fire and water effects looking quite realistic to contrast it. It is a quite good 10 to 15 hour experience (depending if you played the original or not) to enjoy.
