Amazing game with great gameplay. Bought for my kid who can’t put it down!

I first played the game on the Nintendo Switch when it came out in 2023. This version of the game, with the upgrades, makes it SO much better. I collect physical, but if you have the game already for the Nintendo Switch, you can buy the upgrade pack which upgrades it digitally. Otherwise, this version is also compatible with the original Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 - the cart works in both systems. You just won’t get the upgrades if playing on the original Nintendo Switch. Getting to the game, while it expands on much of the original game’s controls and feels like a much needed improvement, I still stand by my original thoughts in that it feels like it should have been DLC. That shouldn’t deter anyone who hasn’t played it, as you can easily sink 100s of hours into this game.

4K HDR and 60 fps is incredible. But of course, gameplay is king. I wasn't a fan of BOTW and held out on this one. Glad I did so I could get the Switch 2 version but I had no idea what I was missing! Incredible game! Morphs in more of classic Zelda while maintaining the new BOTW formula.

I tried the original breath of the wild and couldn't quite get into it. However after trying Tears of the Kingdom I felt like it provided a much more straight forward and guided feel while still having the open world that breath of the wild did. The crafting (Fusing) was a fun addition and I look forward to spending alot more time with it.

I missed this game on the original switch and I’m glad I did. Now I get to experience the game in better resolution and smoother frames.

This game is totally challenging gorgeous frustrating and relaxing all at the same time. A must for any open world fan.

This is quite literally the best game I have ever played, recommended to anyone who loves fun combat, open world adventure, and classic Zelda gameplay.

I've not played Zelda in a WHILE, but this game is really fun and has a great story to it. I will say as an old soul the mechanics took me a bit to get used to, and also some of the puzzles of what to do are a fun challenge.

This game is amazing and has multiple levels of which I never get tired or bored from playing.

This is clearly the best way to play one of the best games of the last decade. While nothing can ever replace that first time through Breath of the Wild. Tears of the Kingdom expands on the first game with different mechanics that alter your approach. The Switch 2 upgrades, especially the smoother frame rate, make this the version to get.

My daughter is obsessed and loving this game. I think I should’ve gotten discounted because I purchased two Zelda games of the same transaction.

Great game. My favorite video game series. I need a 3rd installment, not just spin offs. I want a continuation of this timeline.

This game is very great on the new system. If this is a first time playing I would highly recommend this one and breathe of the wild. Still the price is a bit much $80 is insane.

This game took Breath of the Wild and made it even better! Runs amazingly smooth on Nintendo Switch 2. A real worth successor to BOtW.
