To start, I was a little disappointed that a TV show from the late 70's released on DVD could not have better picture and sound quality. I watch these DVD's on a 40" 1080 HDTV. I purchased 2 different TV show season DVDs : Grizzly Adams and Gilligan's Island. The latter is a much older TV show but yet the sound and picture quality is 50 times better than Grizzly Adams. Since Gilligan cost 1/2 the price of Grizzly Adams, I would suggest waiting to see if the price goes down before purchasing since the quality is poor. Also, the episodes are not in order or air date. I am excited to have both seasons of Grizzly Adams on DVD. The daily antics of Ben, Adams, Mad Jack, and Nakoma make me fondly remember my childhood. A simple program with a straight forward message.: be good to the land and wildlife and they will be good to you.

This is a great TV series for family time together! Pop some popcorn and have some quality time together!

We grew up watching this show and now our kids love it. Great series for the family.

This is a great TV show; however the quality of the video isn't so great. That could just be a product of the time the show was made and I'm used to higher quality TV now. Still worth watching.
