The movie is ok, especially if you're a Soderbergh fan. Where this release shines is the steelbook packaging design!

Pre-ordered 10 copies of this steelbook the day it was put up for pre-order. Thisbis one of my favorite all time movies. I just want one not damaged copy. They came, 6 were spine slashed, this is an instant return. I chose carefully, but still dis not avoid damage to the slipcover. It was bad enough to open a second copy. This too was damaged on the slipcover, but the steel was mint. Both copies have an extremely annoying vertical line running theough the first clear bar on the slipcover, it ruins the entire alipcover for me, devating trashing in, but the lionsgate sliocovers are great because they form a new and different image than the Steelbook. Im disappointed ordering 10 copies cant result in one non damaged copy.

An amazing movie! I love this film and the fact that this release is packaged in a gorgeous steelbook, is an added bonus. If you're a fan of gangster movies or a fan of Terence Stamp, it's a must have!

This film gets better every time I watch it. Brilliant acting and editing. The 4k transfer looks amazing.

Crazy how nobody talks about this movie, it was such a pleasant surprise. It subverts the revenge genre in many ways but still gives a satisfying conclusion. Highly recommend giving it a shot.

Terence Stamp absolutely kills it in this. It was nice to see Zod as a good guy!

So, this film has been on my wishlist for a Blu-ray release since...well, since I adopted the format over DVD. Years passed, it still remained on that very list. By absolute chance, I stumbled on the existence of this 4k release. Ordered it as soon as my fingers could type in my info I am pleased beyond words to report that this is an amazing release of a criminally underrated film.

Not a bad film,not great,just so-so. Terence Stamp does a good job as does Peter Fonda. The steelbook edition is nothing special.

I enjoyed watching this movie a lot. I had seen the original version when it was released a while ago but the updated Blu-ray is much better with great video and audio. I thought it had great acting and directing. I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys a different type of movie.

The Limey is a 1999 film directed by Steven Soderbergh. The new Best Buy Steelcase 4k/Blu-ray edition is simply OUTSTANDING! This is a big upgrade over the previous DVD release. Well worth the upgrade. Terence Stamp is magnificent in the title role. Highly recommended.

Soderbergh’s The Limey has an outstanding lead performance from Terrance Stamp. It’s like an experimental action film and one of the directors best. This 4K/Blu combo was a long time coming as the film was dvd only for 23 years. Worth a watch.

What can be said for one of the top films from the best year in movie history? 90 minutes of pure joy, revenge, love, catharsis, violence and Terence Stamp!! What more do you need?! One of Steven Soderbergh finest films and the guy has a few.

Good movie, great acting. I really enjoyed this movie. Upgraded picture to 4K is very nice. Sound seems the same as earlier soundtrack w BluRay. Packaging was a bonus. Definitely worth a watch.
