Fabulous story! A deep love shared between two young people who's lives unfold parallel to the remembered love of an older gentleman whose love/wife has been deceased. The couples (both young and old) have similar issues where they seem to be going in conflicting directions in life and the challenges of compromise and reunion.

I'm going to be honest. I wasn't super excited to hear that another Nicholas Sparks book got made into a movie. So I was hesitant to watch it. But I watched and loved it. There's so much more to the story than I had expected. So give it a try and it will exceed your expectations! I watch it all the time now that I own it.

I was skeptical before I bought this as I wasn't sure it was my kind of movie, but wanted to see it since Clint Eastwood's son is in it. So I watched it on pay per view and as soon as I finished watching it I ordered it so I could watch it as many times as I like. It was a really great movie that I thoroughly enjoyed.

I have watched almost all of the Sparks novel movies with my wife. This was not one of the best but still worth a watch for a romance movie night. Tells stories from 2 different times like The Notebook, but not as good as that one. My wife enjoyed it but didn't love it. The chemistry with the characters is good and story is decent. It keeps you interested but not life changing.

I loved this movie and am glad I bought instead of renting because I will definitely be watching it again and again. Really great plot, not predictable like you might expect because of the love story of the older man intertwined with the young couple. Great twist at the end too!

I was not into drama and love type movies. However my GF suggested this one and said it reminded her of us as she was the sorority girl and I used to risen bulls. I have to admit I was pleasantly pleased with the plot and the way it came together. And the surprise ending although not too hard to predict if you try.

This movie is long but when all is said and done you will really like the ending. Good Boy meets Girl movie and loved the back and forth from present to past comparing two love stories. Alan Alda is superb. Really liked Clint Eastwood's son. Strong resemblance.

Good movie to watch on a date. Probably not much rewatchability.

I really enjoyed this movie. A little disappointed that I could not find a copy with Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy. I got this movie for black Friday and was super pleased with my purchase. Always buy movies during Black Friday because the deals are great and worth it.

The split story line fit the scenarios well in blending two separate love stories centered around a common theme. In the end both become encompassed into a single situation while in the development of the whole story, the movie displayed a lot of realities of life and that in life it can't always be about you!

This movie is about riding a horse. It is also about love. It is also about not much more than that, but it is a very long ride and you might not enjoy it. I'm still giving it 5 stars because the title accurately represents the content of the product.

I'm from Texas and grew up a fan of Clint Eastwood, so loved this romantic movie with the bull-riding twist and the very charismatic son of Clint Eastwood. Loved the story of the older couple -- a very sweet movie, with great chemistry among the stars!

My favorite of all Nicholas Sparks movies. Britt and Scott were perfect selections for the lead roles and had a great chemistry. Having 2 love stories over different time periods yet intertwined added a great romantic touch.

The movie is excellent, great quality, and overall story-line is really good. The problem I have with this product is the digital copy, you can only redeem the code at either Apple or UltraViolet and not both. Other products, you can redeem at Apple to use with iPod/iPad and at UltraViolet to use with Smart TV.

As the movie starts out you wonder if this isn't just another B movie but as the action continues, it grabs your attention and keeps you hoping that they will do whatever it takes to stay together.. By the end of the movie it makes you hope that every girl would be so lucky as to find a love like that.

I hadn't read the book but had to see the movie. Once I did it made me want to read the book. I actually like the way the movie went way better than the book. It was a sweet love story not just between Sophia and Luke, but between Ira and Ruth as well.

I selected this movie for my collection because it reminds me of how important it is to share, see and hear stories about the elderly. Also to see young people appreciate them.

I can't say I'm a huge fan of Nicholas Sparks' book to movie titles all the time. I end up watching them because my wife likes to see them. Even though it wasn't "true" to the book in how the story unfolded (so I'm told), I did enjoy this movie more than most of the other Nicholas Sparks book to movie titles.

Read the book first so was anxious to see the movie. Loved the book and wasn't disappointed with the movie. The actors are so good together, love their love story, really two love stories, but I don't want to give the story line away.

I never thought I would like a movie as much as I love The Notebook, but I left the theater not knowing which I liked better ha! So naturally I HAD to buy it... I would highly recommend it for those who love a great romantic story.
