The game is very fun and nostalgic for Lord of the Rings, and it reminds me of other survival like games I’ve played in the past. The similarities do improve my thoughts of the game, but there are enough differences to also make it stand out on its own as an innovative and intriguing game. The procedurally generated seeds are also a fun touch that helps replay or multiplayer value. And playing as Dwarves from the Tolkien universe is a perspective we needed for a long time, in my opinion. The only thing keeping it from 5-stars is the controls take some getting used to, something that takes a little bit to get acclimated to. I would definitely recommend this game to family and friends.

I can compare this game to Valheim with better looking trolls, less open world, and less base customization. Combat, crafting, exploration, and various other features will remind you of Valheim. If you like the lord of the rings lore, Valheim, and dwarfs then it is a no brainer. With updates and tweaks in the future this game could be a 5 star game, but at present it is a good game with a lot of potential. I have spent 20 hours in the first weekend and have only seen half the game, and I have enjoyed every minute of the 20 hours.
