This is a weird, quirky take on "The New Mutants" comic from the 80s. In the comics, these young mutants were the standout students at Xavier's school--junior X-Men, in other words. In this story, they are prisoners at a special hospital until their mutant powers are "safe" for humanity. "The New Mutants" is more a of a horror movie than an average superhero film. I liked it more than I thought I would. There are some good actors, and the story is interesting.

3 Stars given for a movie that is just “Meh.” The UHD presentation is stunning, but it’s not enough to elevate this turkey past 3 Stars. Ostensibly set on the same universe as Fox’s X-Men franchise, this film offers little to tie it to the other films. Some might interpret this as reason for the film to stand on its own. If it a good film I might agree. This one is for die hard Mutant fans. Even they may experience buyers remorse.

It was a very good movie, and would recommend to watch. If you are into Marvel, its just another piece of the puzzle that fits along the way.

Good movie that I really enjoyed. I'm a kid who enjoy's comics turned to movies. The movie is never as good as the comic book but I still like watching. I like the special effects within the movie that brings the story to life. I look forward to the next movie showing these kids grown up and how they use and understand their abilities.

Did not enjoy this movie at all, I get back story movies, but this was not done well. Sure you got to meet new characters but this felt like very chopped up and no real storyline. Hope this is not going to be the normal thing now, I want mutants with cool powers that are part of an action packed film, not a poorly done love story with a small amount of action, this whole movie could have been portrayed as a flashback scene in another movie.

Better then the reviews say, it was a good film i enjoyed it and the characters were well done . I recommend it but i am a marvel fan

Marvels new Mutant’s is a good outing introducing a new group of X-Men type characters.

Excellent picture and sound. A must buy, especially if you have the proper hone theater setup. The movie not so great though…

True, not exactly part of the X-Men franchise, but it is. This is by far the worst in the long running series. Some of the best scenes from the previews were cut from the movie, not sure why. The promise of this being a horror movie was also a let down as again it was down played from the potential that was promised. Even though it seems as if I bashed it in this review it was still enjoyable and a destruction from the daily routine.

It was kind of slow and hard to get into it at first, the end was interesting. Only a handful of characters throughout the whole movie!

Good movie. Believe this was a lead in to other mutant movies. I was expecting more of fighting the bad guys and a more exicting ending

I liked this movie. I don’t think it was THAT bad, I bought it to add to my steel book collection. The art was cool looking.

I am a big fan of all things Marvel, but I was very disappointed with this addition to the Marvel Universe. It was slow and very little action in the movie, especially for being a new addition to the franchise. Hopefully if they continue with this particular group of Mutants the movies get better and have lots of action and perhaps a plot. This is just my own opinion, so check it out if you want to or not, nothing lost there.

Movie was ok, nothing truly special. I would rate the graphics and sound a 5 out of 5, however the story was pretty bland

It was a good movie and worth watching and say better than Dark Phoenix. If you are a fan of the X-Men movies you will like this movie.

The picture, sound, etc. are all great. Heck, even the acting is quite good. But the movie is sooooo boring. I've watched about 45 minutes of it, but was simply not able to finish. (Or risk falling asleep.) And I say this as someone who liked *all* the other X-Men movies, including the other recent one. I mean, I didn't love any of them, but I at least enjoyed all the others.

The New Mutants Is Not The Best Of The Marvel Movies, But It Is Still A Good Story, Acting And CGI - "Better Than Wonder Woman 84"

This is a pretty good movie from marvel I wish that they could've gave more, but it was pretty good and the storyline wasn't to bad.

Very good 4k blue ray movie, very surprised how much I enjoyed it. Worth the wait considering it took a while to release the movie.
