Another movie that brings my childhood back to life

My grandchildren are ages 5 to 8 and they all enjoyed this movie

One most classic films to watch, brings back the childhood.

A good mashup of live action and animated fantasy storytelling.

Hadn’t seen this movie since childhood and daughter liked it too.

A very enjoyable family movie and for a great price.

I first watched this timeless classic when my children were in elementary and middle school, and was very impressed by both the story line and as a wholesome movie for children--which also inspired and reinforced the joy of reading. At the time, my youngest was in 2nd or 3rd grade and attended after school daycare where movies were shown to the children every Friday. Since I worked in a local library at the time, I often supplied the films for the children to watch and The Pagemaster was such a huge hit (as well as being educational) that I made sure to take it to the daycare at least once a year for the remainder of my daughter's elementary school days! Several years later, I bought the film as a gift for a child of a friend.

A classic 90s movie now on bluray. Well worth the watch.

This movie was a favorite of mine when I was a kid! Now re-watching it as an adult! It still makes me feel like a child again! Great story, great actors! Decent animation!

I would say, don't waste your time. We bought the movie because it was nostalgic for my husband but I nearly fell asleep amd the storyline was hard to follow.

Back in ye olden days of singing lions, immigrant mice, and strong transforming ranger people the still-young Mr. Culkin played a star role in what can only be a big budget half live-action half-cartoon movie secretly backed by the nation's libraries. Its a good tale and like all its other 90's brethren, amazingly campy. Those of us that aged through or formative years during this era have an unnatural love for the wacky and whimsical. This is all of both and more. It may also hold a good message to our current generation of tweens who barely pick up books now days.

Last I’ve seen this movie was on vhs tape as a kid. Loved the movie since then, bluray is beyond amazing the colours are more brighter and I have quality theater sound with the film. Had my step dad watch this for the first time and loved it. Great family film and about not being afraid of everything and have to take chances.

Back before Harry Potter stole the magical world on the Big Screen there was The Pagemaster. Such a great live-action to animation movie starring Macaulay Culkin and Christopher Lloyd. Definitely recommend it to any who grew up in the 90s and didn't have a chance to check it out. Also doesn't hurt that it's only about $5.

Got this for my kids they love home alone and I want them to see Kevin as a magician

This movie is a classic. Watched it so many times as a kid. Still like watching this movie to this day. Great movie for the kids.

We originally bought this movie on VHS when our kids were small and decided we should get it on DVD so we could watch it again and again. It's such a fun movie for the whole family. What a great way for books to come alive for kids. Our favorite character is "Horror". Our whole family loves this movie.
