I didn't get the chance to see this in the theater, and my online version was quite poor. Bought the 4K the day it came out and wasn't disappointed. One of the best movies I have watched in a long time. The nature scenes are amazing and are all real on location, no fake CGI...

I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me how a movie can win Best Actor, Best Cinematography, Best Director and then lose Best Picture. The filming was innovative, Leo's performance was powerful, and the true story is very moving. Do yourself a favor watching this movie.

While watching this movie...i actually felt like i was getting cold! Dont know if it was the 4k making the realism off the charts but i really enjoyed watching this in 4k!

I bought this movie as a birthday gift for my father, we watched it together and we both loved it. There are some truly stunning visuals in this movie and I will never forget that great opening. The movie slows down a bit in the middle but never so much that I lost interest.

I hadn't seen this film since it's initial release, but I recently purchased a LG C8 OLED tv and have been purchasing 4k blu rays to take advantage of the nice picture. The Revenant is possibly the best looking film I've watched on it so far. The film itself is already great and I would recommend it on the narrative and acting alone, but it looks incredible if you have a nicer television.

Having the read the book a few years ago I was intrigued to see how well it translated to the screen. Leo does a phenomenal job in this and the brutal cold and the soundtrack not having alot of talking for long stretches really makes for a harrowing experience.

The story in all its grusome details is not to be missed. The camera work and cinematography is great. Leonardo deserves all the accolades that his performance has garnered. The directing of this movie is outstanding. One of the best made films I have seen in quite some time!

It's Leonardo Di Caprio , what's more to say!!! I've watched this movie at least 25 times , never gets old!!! Action packed, good story line and hey it's Leonardo Di Caprio , this will not disappoint.

This was my second 4K HDR movie to watch on a new Sony 4K HDR player and 75” Samsung 8000 series. The picture was amazing! Much better clarity than the first 4K disc I watched. I really liked the movie, but this isn’t really a movie review.

Was blown away in theaters, was blown away on Blu-Ray and on cloud nine on 4K. The movie was already superb but seeing this great movie in UHD was incredible. I can't stress this enough, this is the best way to see this great film, make the leap with this movie on 4K!

The Revenant is an extremely well-filmed movie with Leonard DiCaprio who fully deserved his Oscar nomination. As good as the film is, it really is hard to watch due to the viciousness of the elements and the "bad guy" played by Tom Hardy. The real "star" of the film is its cinematography, not the story. Just beautiful landscapes! Yes, you'll really like this film, but due to its realism, will be hard to watch on subsequent viewings.

One of the best films I've seen in years. Beautifully photographed in cold, rugged terrain (Alberta) with man against nature. The raw sound added to the spectacle of the film. Saw it in a theatre and knew I would buy it on Blu-ray. A worthy purchase for repeating viewing.

Leonardo deserves an Oscar just for what he puts himself through let alone the amazing acting. All the characters are so real and you find yourself hating the bad guys and cheering the good guys... Fantastic scenery etc

This movie is really good. The settings. The cinematography. The music is not used a lot,but it is great when and where it's played. I got this on Black Friday for 17.99. So I had to get it. It looks amazing in 4k. I haven't watched the extras,but I definitely will.

This movie won the multiple awards with no argument. A very real, raw film and an amazing performance by Leonardo DiCaprio. More of an adult movie, depending on how your children may respond. We watched it in theater... very intense and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

After watching this amazing yet unbelievably intense story line I was sucked in by Leonardo DiCaprios performance. Undeniably one of the best films he’s been a part of recently. Absolutely love the collectible case it comes with and at a great price!!!!

This movie is classic material. Leo is at his best...top notch acting in this film. Keeps your interest from beginning to end. I have already watched this 3 times, and each time I pick up more. Easily one of the best films of the year! A definite must have and a must see.

If you want realism, this is a good movie to watch. The acting is superb. The plot for the most part is very believable. That being said the end was a little disappointing because it is hard to believe two men who have managed to live thus far would ride into a trap like they did. That is my only complaint though. The movie has a feel of anxiety and gloom for the most part. Everything is headed for the ending that ultimately happens.
