I’m not a stranger to seeking out thinner wallets. Used to use a tri-fold that was like 3” thick. Then I used a “billfold” for a while, which was pretty flat, but I had to make decisions on what stayed and what went. Then I moved onto “ripstop nylon" material wallets, which was very light and sturdy, but I still wanted something smaller, and able to hold more than 4 or so cards. Grabbed a hard case “Flip Side” wallet, which I’ve happily used for over a year. I liked that the hard plastic kept me in check since its structure only holds an exact amount of cards, not a single more, or it wouldn’t shut. The design is great since you know how thick it will always be as it’s a hard case that snaps shut. This fixed size started out as exciting, but began to feel too thick in my front pocket. On top of that, there were a few cards I had to leave at home since they all wouldn’t fit into the rigid body of the wallet. I decided to try the Gunmetal Aluminum Ridge model and it not only looks great, the simple design forces you to decide what you really need to carry, nothing more. I was able to fit all my cards into it with no issues, something I couldn’t do with the hard-shell limited card Flip Side design that I’m coming from. The Ridge wallet is simple; maximize storage space so the wallet itself is no larger than ~15 stacked credit cards. I’m sure their corporate tagline reads differently, but this is what this product means to me. And that’s the simplicity they intend. I’ve included a few photos of my current wallet, which I don’t dislike, but it’s still just too thick. The Ridge is just two pieces of metal sandwiched together with tiny screws, and held by an elastic band. Yep, that’s it, it just holds your cards one on top of the other. Sure you could just get a rubber band, stack your cards, and wrap the band over them…boom, instant minimalist wallet. But you won’t, so this is the next best alternative. So far, I love it. As long as you place your most used cards at the top and bottom of the stack, it’s really simple to get the hang of it. I wanted to finally use my Air Tag that I’ve had in a drawer for a while (I dislike huge keychains), so I bought the official Ridge Air Tag money clip (not included with this listing). I highly recommend it if you plan to use an Air Tag and want to carry some cash in a compact and sturdy package. Sometimes the best designs are the most simple, and The Ridge Wallet certainly is that. I don’t miss my thick leather wallets, which probably caused all sorts of back/spine issues over the years. It took me a bit to get used to carrying in my front pocket, but now that it's a habit, I’ll never use a back pocket wallet again. I'm happy with it and will recommended The Ridge Wallet to everyone.

Great, extraordinarily well built compact wallet. Keeps just enough cards in it for what you need, and forces you to leave what you don’t at home. The money clip keeps cash close at hand, and the strong grip keeps it in place. And it’s customizable; a screwdriver is included with extra screws for swapping accessories. But it is *very* expensive for what it is. However, if you see it on sale, it’s a no-brainer.

Your Only Wallet - The Ridge Wallet

If you are like me, a thick wallet is a pain to carry around. It never sets quite right in your pockets whether you are sitting or standing. It’s also tough to get out your license, money or credit cards out. It can be a real mess and an irritation. What can you do about this common, jumbled and thick wallet issue? Get the Ridge Wallet! This wallet weighs only 2 ounces, is made of “aero grade aluminum” making it “scratch resistant” and its ultra-light! The Ridge Wallet can carry up to 12 cards like your license, credit, debit, or any other similar cards. I put all 8 cards I had in my leather wallet into the Ridge Wallet. I put the cash I had underneath the “cash strap” on the back of the Ridge Wallet. My leather wallet was fine for my things but the issue for me, it was always bulky. The wallet wore on the edges and creases of the leather. It was also relegated to the back pocket of my jeans. Thankfully, the Ridge Wallet took care of these problems. Not only are the materials top notch quality, which gives it longevity, it is small enough organizing your “cards.” Now I can carry the Ridge Wallet in my front pocket! Another great feature from the Ridge Wallet is that it blocks RFID (Radio Frequency ID). It prevents credit cards from “wireless theft” which my traditional leather wallet cannot do. The Ridge Wallet is also customizable with interchangeable parts, all kinds of colors (30), materials. For example, if you don’t like the “Cash Strap,” you can order a money clip to replace it. You can install it yourself by removing the screws and following the instructions. Every once in a little while, there is a product that can simply and really change how your life can run. I believe the Ridge Wallet is one of those products. Its having a lot going for it with organizing your “cards,” made with lightweight, durable “space age” material, RFID protection and condenses the size of regular wallets taming the that ordinary mess.

    Safe & Stylish Ridge Wallet

I'm pretty sure I've had my current leather fold wallet since college...and that was 30 years ago! I've never really thought much about it. I never loved it, but there was never a reason to replace it...until now. I recently got the Ridge Wallet and I will never look back to a traditional wallet. The Ridge Wallet is the new way of safely and stylishly carrying all your credit cards, IDs, and cash. The idea of the Ridge is a two-sided aluminum (there are also carbon fiber and titanium options available) protective wallet that is low profile, stylish, and can be placed in the front pocket. There's a notch on the bottom for pushing up the installed cards when needed for use. There are stretchy bands on all sides that hold the two sides together and there's also an included money band. The gunmetal aluminum is eye-catching, in fact multiple people have asked about it while checking out recently. It's low-profile, even with the maximum of 12 cards in it. And one of the best features is it protects your credit cards from being stolen with RFID readers. This gives me peace of mind as I spend a lot of time in major metro areas for work and where credit card theft is prevalent. Pros: - Stylish with aluminum, titanium and carbon fiber options available - Really well-built and extra screws and screwdriver included - Protect your credit cards from RFID reader theft - Low profile for easy fit in the front pocket - Hold more than enough cards and IDs - Cash strap included for cash and receipts - Built to last a lifetime! Cons: - It can take a little bit to get used to, but hey I've had my wallet for 30 years! - This is specific to me, but I'm conflicted about putting it and my car keys in the same front pocket Overall, The Ridge Wallet offers safety in a stylish and super well-built package. So long bulky folding wallets, hello Ridge!

I’ve been using this wallet for a few weeks now and I’m genuinely impressed. The design strikes a perfect balance between functionality and style. It’s slim enough to fit comfortably in my pocket without creating a noticeable bulge, yet it still has enough compartments to hold my essentials — cash, a few cards, and even an ID window for quick access. The material feels premium and durable, with a nice texture that gives it a sophisticated look. The stitching is clean and strong, suggesting that it’ll hold up well over time. I also appreciate the RFID-blocking feature for added peace of mind when I’m out and about. Overall, this wallet is a great choice for anyone looking for something sleek, practical, and stylish. Whether you’re upgrading from an old bulky wallet or buying your first minimalist one, this is a solid option that offers excellent value.

    I Love This Wallet!

This Ridge wallet is hands down the best wallet that I have ever used! As a lifelong wielder of a stuffed to the brim tri-fold wallet, I have long wanted to cut down on the amount of cards that I carry. I used to feel that I needed to have every card with me at all times. This is no longer necessary due to the advent of mobile pay. Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, and Zelle have diminished the need to carry multiple physical cards. I have decided to go minimalist and cut down to 3-4 cards. My daily carry now consists of my ID, 1 or 2 credit cards, and a debit card. This wallet can accommodate up to 12 cards for the occasion where I need to carry more cards. I have scanned copies of other cards such as insurance cards on my phone. This Ridge wallet is very attractive and feels to be manufactured to extremely high standards. It feels rock solid and I have no doubt it will hold up to everyday use easily. It provides RFID shielding so the cards it carries can not be surreptitiously scanned. I am very impressed that each wallet comes with a lifetime warranty. This speaks volumes to the confidence that Ridge has in its products. The cash strap configuration is how the wallet comes. The cash strap can be removed and the wallet can be easily converted to the money clip configuration using the included screwdriver. Also included in the box are extra screws. I am so happy to have a slimmer, minimalist wallet. I am looking forward to carrying it in my front pocket and no longer having that uncomfortable wallet bulge while I am sitting. I love everything about this Ridge wallet. It is now my favorite wallet.

I feel wallets are a pretty personal accessory to life besides a watch or a phone, so getting a new one is like starting a new relationship. I’ve been eyeing Ridge Wallet for quite some time. I switched from a tri-fold about 15 years ago, to a card carrier and bifold. The size and thickness reduction being the biggest requirement. 95% of the time I am wearing cargo shorts or pants, but when not choosing that clothing style, the tri-fold was definitely too thick, but even the carrier style is a little too thick when you need to put the wallet in the back pocket. The tan bifold I only use when I am out riding as I only need 4 cards (license, blood type, debit, and credit) and cash. For daily use, it cannot hold all that I need. The Ridge is definitely the smallest wallet I have ever used and the concept of just being a carrier I had already transitioned to, but losing the ID Slot may take some more time to get used to. I did run into an issue with one card, which is not a traditional debit/credit but a laminated store card it is larger than the typical card. It does make the cards a little harder to slide out. One benefit so far from the Ridge has made me reflect on what cards I really need to have on me at all times and which ones are occasional and can carrier when needed. I have been carrying 21 cards in total for sometime and the Ridge says it can handle 12. I have 13 in it, but two are paper, so they are not as thick; only 5 are personal. I hoped it would at least become my new riding only wallet, but it requires taking off my gloves to get my card out. I do like that with my current setup with the Ridge, it still fits in a front pocket easily. Unfortunately though this style doesn't seem to suit my lifestyle.

    Step Your Wallet Game Up!

A little wallet that forces you to carry less junk and prioritize more of the important. Honestly I did pack unnecessary things in my wallet. It left my back pocket with a bulge and it often looks sloppy especially if I’m dressed nice. I was a little hesitant to remove some of the things in my old wallet because they’ve been in there for quite some time. I made myself feel better by assuring myself that most of it is digital. I settled on putting my 1 credit card, 1 debit card, driver’s license, my medical card, and 20 dollar bill to have an emergency cash. The Ridge wallet looks sleek and extremely lightweight. My only fear is that I may lose it since I don’t really feel it. If I’m in a suit I know I will be comfortable wearing them tailored since it’s a sleek wallet. Cons: The cash strap is not the safest way to carry my money around in my opinion so I probably will not be using it to carry cash. The cash strap allows the money to easily slide out and I don’t want that. Though a money clip might not be as comfortable, I do think it will be better for my use. The Ridge wallet does scratch easily from my key fob being in the same pocket. Pros: It is no wider than a credit card. It’s nice and sleek. It’s so lightweight that I would recommend carrying it in a front pocket. The elastic for the cards gives the cards a tight grip and gives the peace of mind that my cards are not coming out easily. This is a wonderful upgrade to keep what I need simple and neat. I would recommend this to any man looking to step their wallet game up.

I have tried a few cheaper versions of minimalist wallets only to go back to my trusted leather wallet. But until you get the Real Ridge Wallet. You have not truly tried the leader in minimalist wallets. Unlike previous wallets I have tried. The biggest help is now vs then, almost all my cards are flat and don't have raised credit card numbers that make cards not quite sit right. And unlike this new Ridge Wallet. There was never a place to put those annoying loyalty shopping cards you need for a quick scan to save $$$ while shopping at grocery stores (I don't want them on keyring and digital versions have been troublesome). While I can fit a dozen cards in the wallet. That's not in the true spirit of the minimalist wallets. So, it will be an adjustment to carry this smaller wallet and leave some cards at home. It does comfortably fit my front pocket better, where BTW, I have always carried my wallets. The spot for loyalty cards is quickly accessible. Money in a small stack fits better than a weeks bankroll. For an all in one wallet. It's very good. They even include spare screws and a screwdriver for I guess an occasional adjustment, hopefully I never need them. There is also a sticker if you want to share your brand loyalty. My only concern will be how long the elastic that keeps the wallet closed will last. Elastic is taught now with too many cards, but what might happen when I scale down. Even though there seems to be a lifetime warranty that should cover it. And if there was a way to display a driver's license without sliding it out. That might be a nice added feature. Overall, short of the George Costanza's out there. This is a very nice wallet for gifting or treating yourself. We all need to carry less with us.

    Functional Minimalist Wallet

Inside the box for the Ridge Wallet you’ll find the wallet (fully assembled), a Torx head screwdriver, extra Torx head screws, and a 3” x 2” ‘Ridge’ sticker. The wallet itself is very minimalist. It measures 3.75” x 2.125” (the same size as most IDs or credit cards), weighs just 2oz, and is a sandwich construction of a metal outer plate (.02” thick), plastic inner body (.09” thick), expandable storage space, plastic inner body, metal outer plate, all held together with a closed-loop elastic strap. The assembled package is very rigid with zero flex. The back elastic cash strap is a closed loop and is simply pinned under the back metal plate. Seemingly, the cash strap could be swapped for the money clip, if one desired, based on the grooves cut into the plastic inner body plate. Using the Ridge wallet is as simple as sliding your cards in from the one long edge and your folded cash under the cash strap. The receiving edge of the wallet features a bevel making it very easy to insert the cards. Cards can then be pushed back out en masse using the notch on the opposite long edge. Now, to be completely honest; I am a long-time folding-leather-wallet-in-the-back-pocket kind of person. And that has served me well: I know where things are in my pockets and where things are in my wallet and can get to them quickly and easily. Moving to the Ridge has forced me to adjust long standing behaviors. For instance, the Ridge Wallet really should be kept in a front pocket, which, for me, means it sharing space with either my keys in one or my phone in the other. Additionally, there is no good way to store other items: Receipts, business cards, etc. So, in a lot of ways, I am still learning and adjusting to this minimalist approach and trying to decide if its right for me. At the end of the day, the Ridge Wallet is attractive, well built and performs its job as advertised. If I have any real, significant complaint, it's the price. There are no electronics, no motors, no moving parts, no precious metals…just 4 thin plates of common materials (aluminum and plastic) made in China. And for the over-inflated price-point alone, I am deducting a star from my rating.

The ridge wallet is a modern looking minimalist wallet. Out of the box you get the wallet, a screw driver, and some extra screws. The aluminum material feels great, and has a nice finish. It looks like it was cut on a CNC machine. The build quality is great, and it just feels nice to the touch. You can place up to 12 cards I think. You want the cards to be snug in there, so it's flexible. That's where the screwdriver comes into play. You can loosen it to fit more cards, or tighten it to carry a smaller amount. For my review I placed five cards in there. I had to play with the tightening a bit to find the amount of pressure that I liked when I tried to press them out. That's also one of my gripes. The cards are sometimes hard to push out. I wish it were easier. There are two bands on the side that control the tension. There's a money clip that keeps your cash pretty secure. I placed a single dollar and it stayed in. It has RFID blocking so your credit/debit cards stay hack proof. This is a nice feature. All in all, the wallet looks and feels nice, but I think there's work to be done on how the credit/debit/license slides out.

I’ve owned several wallets over the years, but nothing has matched the simplicity, security, and sheer durability of my Black Ridge Wallet. From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell this wasn’t just another accessory—it was something built with intention and built to last. As someone who values both style and practicality, this wallet struck the perfect balance. Its sleek, black design fits effortlessly in any pocket, yet it still manages to hold everything I need—IDs, cards, even a few bills tucked neatly into the money clip. No bulge, no fuss, just organized efficiency.
