The movie follows prisoners in a prison with a greedy warden who uses a prisoner who is a financial expert to make him rich and powerful, who in turn is helping other prisoners have a better life in the prison.

This is considered one the best films of all time. Happy to have it in 4k UHD.

The Shawshank Redemption has always been one of our favorites. The cast is perfect, and the story just fell into place. This movie can be watched anytime and you always feel good at the end. Thumbs UP!!!

This movie is a must see. Stellar performances given by Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman who present a story of a wrongfully accused man and what he does with his prison sentence.

I've seen this movie a few times, so knew what to expect. But it's my first Digibook and I really liked all the extra stuff you get with the Blu-ray - especially for the price!

This is an Excellent movie in 4K This Classic Movie

Has a very good storyline is slow in for some places keeps your attention. I would recommend this movie for ages 25 and up. With that said it’s a great movie enjoy.

I am a major movie buff. I have seen thousands of movies. I recently bought and watched the 4K version of this movie. For starters if you love this movie the 4K is beautiful and sound is good. Best version made of this movie. This movie quickly peaks your interest as a husband is going to prison for murdering his wife. Watch as he Andy Dufresne learns to adapt to a whole new life and way of living in the prison system. This movie will make you laugh, make you cry and make you smile. At the heart of the movie is the relationship Andy makes with fellow inmate Ellis Boyd played wonderfully by the great Morgan Freeman. Watch they develop a real one in a lifetime friendship. This is easily the best movie I have ever seen a true 5 out of 5

Absolutely loved this movie when it first came out. Find it hard to believe that Stephen King wrote the story! Also upgraded to the Blu-Ray version.

Not as grand a spectacle as such timeless classics like Casablanca, The Wizard of Oz, Gone With the Wind, The Godfather, Star Wars, or more recent films like Titanic, Gladiator, T2, Jurassic Park and The Departed....but nonetheless a great movie experience. Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman absolutely shine in the story and deliver top notch performances in this Stephen King adaptation from Frank Darabont. Their character interaction really invigorates the true heart of the story, and what a magnificent story it is. Its a powerful, thought-provoking & soul inspiring movie, but underneath it all, its simply a life lesson about the perseverance of hope & the testament of unwavering friendship, even in the most dire of circumstances. In watching the story unfold, you'll likely identify something very personal in your own life with a scene, a character, or a moment in this uncomplicated movie. Highly recommended to all. 5 Stars

I love the movie time less classic but I was upset it didn’t have a digital copy with it but still very happy with it

Even though this is on regular TV frequently, its a must have in the library. Great cast and story line!
