Overall a good movie. I've always wanted to add this title to my movie collection, hesitated when it came out, but now that it's on the clearance bin, it is definitely worth adding to the BluRay collection.

Could not possibly look any better than it does in 4k. If you like the movie, this is the way to see it.

Okay, calling Shawshank "new" may be inaccurate, but it deserves a place among the pantheon of the best films ever made. Superb acting and excellent story-telling weave a near flawless film.

I don't know anyone who hasn't seen this movie, so lets talk 4k. Warner has done a good job with their restorations, and this is no exception. Kinda bummed there is no Atmos soundtrack, but it's not a great loss. However, the improvement in picture quality is enough to buy this disc. Again.

This movie is such a great movie that you are a little disappointed when it is over. The acting is wonderfully done and you just can't help getting into the main characters. Definitely a must see!

How can you go wrong with this movie? Morgan Freeman steals the movie but Tim Robbins holds his own. This is a classic non horror Stephan King story about redemption and it is inspiring.

If you haven't seen this movie, get it! It's such a classic and was one of my now-deceased father's favorites. It's nice to finally have it in Blu-Ray and was a great price when we bought it.
