Enjoy watching this movie every time it comes on television so I finally broke over and bought it on DVD. If you have never watched it I'm telling you to. You won't be disappointed.

One of the best movies ever made period. Very good sound and picture. Great cast and script.

What can I say....this is one of the best movies of all time IMO......the acting is incredible, the story is heartbreaking and the ending is one of the satisfying endings in movie history....

A pretty good job with the 4k scan. Color correction and details have done this transfer good. Due to directors intent, this is not an imagine that will necessarily pop off your screen. It is, in fact, the best the film has ever looked and a great addition to the physical media family.

This is a movie everyone should see. A smart, uplifting movie. It takes you on a real journey and you are not prepared for how you will feel at the end. And it's a movie that is rewatchable.

This is by far one of the best movies of all time. With the high definition remastering and all of the blu-Ray extras that add to the overall package makes it one great movie to own!

Great transfer please buy if you only have the DVD copy

I had the dvd of this movie and recently bought a bluray player so I had to get this one in this format since I love this movie. It is by far one of the greatest movies ever made.

What can I say really ? It's Shawshank Redemption. A true classic. Great acting, great film. One of my favorites. A sweet clear blu-ray copy from Best Buy makes it even better. Thanks !

About as perfect as a movie can get. Compelling story, great script, great acting. Part of it can be quite depressing but don't let that deter you if you haven't seen this movie yet.

It's hard not to give this one five stars since it's an all time favorite. The clarity on the blue ray disc is spot on.
