Best game I have purchased. I had the sims when I was younger, but now I get to have it at a great price and also it can go on my MacBook.

My wife loves this game. It was a good by for her. I even had fun the one time she has shared the computer so I could play... And by that I mean she was at work.

Other than the upgrade to graphics and animations, plus character customization, it feels more like the Sims 3. Not a huge sims community exists anymore which gives it a "goin round the circles".

I love this game.... but EVERYTHING can always be improved... If EVERYONE gave this game 5 stars, would EA even take the time to make a Sims 5? Don't rate things to highly, or you might end up disappointed. VERY HAPPY WITH SIMS 4.... RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!

My daughter loves this series and SIMS 4 is just as exciting! According to her she noticed the new things that were added to the SIMS 4 games and liked the additions such as the ability to build better and more realistic homes. She also liked how the jobs were more realistic and challenging!

It is an improvement in some aspect and then there are things they left out that you will miss. the graphics are improved but not by a lot and the load time to start the game is still annoying.

The Sims 4 is better than previous editions since the interactions have been improved. The only setback is how basic the content is reflecting the same styles of previous Sims editions. There are basic essentials not included, e.g. a simple dishwasher, toddler stage for kids, etc. In summary, a lot of great improvements but many items feel like the very first Sims created.

Overall the Sims 4 offers hours of fun. There are so many customizination options! My only pet peeve are the disappearing furniture when you are in build mode. I’m hopeful the latest update will correct this issue.

I have never been a Sims fan, but I bought this for my girlfriend, as she is a big fan. After watching her play for a while, I gave it a try and was pretty happy with how it turned out.

    A New Start

An amazing sequel to the Sims so far! There are some glitches in the game, but I was easily able to contact EA so that they can be worked on, and new patches will be available soon. Emotions make things so much more fun and interesting. You choose the game you play. The Sims 4 can either be the easiest or the hardest Sims game you have ever played. There are unlockable items to give a sense of accomplishment, and tasks (like dates and parties) seem goal orientated and non tedious. Overall worth the buy and I cant wait for the first expansion, although this is the biggest base game of The Sims franchise yet.

Not a huge fan of the series and DRM sucks but the graphics are pretty nice and game runs smooth on just about any system with minimum specs

    Good as a Base Game

Sims 4 is better and worse than Sims 3. It runs much smoother than it's predecessor and it's building/creating is superior. However after those aspects the game falls lackluster. I played for over 8 hours in total and eventually the character autonomy is so well done that you don't even have to pay attention to the game unless you want to make them do something different for whatever reason. Hoping that when they start releasing expansion packs it will add something interesting to the game. As it stands it's a good base game but nothing worth spending a ton of time on yet. Also I cannot stand the new camera controls, even though you can switch to the sims 3 style camera they are still overly sensitive and impossible to control.

I bought this game for my daughter for x-mas and she absolutely loves the game. She loves the variety of clothes the game has and when her sims has babies of their own, so cute. If you have kids, they would love this game.

I ordered the Sims4 based on the description stating that it worked on Mac, but the game that I received definitely wasn't compatible. Luckily I had Origin so I was able to input the product code to be able to use it.

I actually bought this for my girlfriend and she just loves this game! She grew up with it and just watching how creative she gets with the house building and family shaping she does with it was amazing! Definitely recommend this game to those gamers who enjoy creating their own homes and characters. I played it too before, it’s so much fun!

I love the new create-a-sim editor. Really lets you customize the look of your sim to the smallest detail. The building editor allows you to quickly build rooms and you can even have them furnished automatically! So far, I love this game.

Some people seem turned off by some of the new changes introduced in the Sims 4. While playing so far, I feel like the game runs smooth and haven't run into any issues yet. I am enjoying the game, but also purchased the Get to Work expansion to add to the depth of the game. There are many new things to do, which is always good when playing a new title. I will agree with the common statement though, this is not the Sims 3. There are changes, but the game is worth a try, especially with it going on sale regularly.

I have played the Sims since the original game and enjoy this new version. My only critics is that they no longer have the toddler stage of life. It is awkward to have a baby just turn into a school kid.

So, if you liked the previous versions of SIMS you'll love this version too. The new thing is that your Sims are effected by their emotions now. Fun game!
