Although the new build/buy tools are fun to play with, the game feels watered down and many of the old features are gone. I would recommend sticking with Sims 3 instead of going out to buy the new version.

Daughter loves it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My daughter loves the game... getting it set up was a pain with the Origin and EA accounts... this was mainly due to not having a MAC disk in the box, so we had to download the game with EA. that could be better but the game is great.

Great game

I had to get use to the new look they gave the sims, but once I was in the game playing it didn't even matter the game was beautiful! I can't wait to see what expansion packs they are going to release to make it even better!!

Improvement over S3, Missing features

However, functionality that was in the Sims 3 base game is missing here, with the expectation that you will fill it in with paid DLC.

Sims 4 is a great time waster as it technically doesn’t have an end. I would recommend to anyone that wants to create a virtual household.
