My daughter received this as a present. Really cool game - while it worked. There seems to be some major issues with compatibility with the Win8 OS. Hers died after a week and an exchange replacement didn't work at all. Unless you want to spend a lot of time working with the EA helpline, suggest waiting until they have the bugs fixed.

I've been a SIMS fan since the beginning. I must admit, I do not find this new game to be much more exciting. Usually when theres a new installment a lot of positive changes have occurred and I felt like this was a step back... If you like the sims games for the interaction between sims, then this is the game for you. If you are like me, however, and enjoy building and decorating more - stick with The Sims 3.

My teenage daughter spends most of her time creating new people with individual personalities and voices - rather than actually playing the game. She's really enjoying using all the new features that SIMS 4 offers. It's given her hours of creativity and fun!

it has a lot more things to do and the characters have better emotions. The only bad thing is you don't have that birds eye view any more of the scene.. Other then that its is fun.

The graphics weren't great and I don't care for the traveling.

It was a little hard to get to know the tricks, but when you learned it, it is pretty fun. I don't know if it is just my computer, sometimes the game froze. I had to exit and re-enter the game.

Bought this game for my son and he enjoys it a lot.

We did the download. my daughter wanted it but it took me forever, I am used to just buying a disc. It took me a little longer but we got it working. She had THE Sims, but MY Sims is the new thing. She loves it

It's a fun game. Sure I forgot My desktop and my laptop both lack the necessary drive to put the disk into so I can actually play it... But I mean I'm sure I can just buy an external one at some point.

Something for my kids to play. They seem to enjoy it.
