I haven't played the Sims since the second one but it seems like they've made some great improvements! So much you can do with this game.

As with any revision, this is The Sims with better graphics, more features, and more interactivity. Good game.

My gf loves the sims and this seems to keep her entertained for hours

I've been a fan of the sims since the beginning. I love how this concept has envolved. This game is awsome and has unlimited gameplay.

This is one fantastic game I have enjoyed it from the time I bought it and opened it up.

Overall a great game. Back to basics, like sims 1 and 2. It isn't as seamless, babies go straight to kids, no pools. I'm sure a lot of this will be released via expansion packs. A lot of random bugs in the game but I'm sure patches will continue to take care of that. Endless amount of interactions and emotions. The level of customization is awesome.

This is the next chapter in the SIMS game and is a good example of how you should make a game that is kept fresh for the players.

Heard a lot of bad reviews, but when I found it on sale I bought it anyway, it's a great game, better then all the ones before it.

I've been a "plank owner" with the Sims, and have played all three versions. Each version gets better. The only down side was that it took so long to install because of all the Origin software that comes with it. It's nice to see that the Sims community is still active and as creative as ever. I also purchased the Get to Work expansion, but was disappointed that there were no restaurants, retail shops or residences added to the existing communities. All in all though, Sims 4 is a fun game to play.

If you like to play Sims, there is no doubt you will enjoy the advancing upgrades.

Purchased for my daughter, loves it and probably plays it more than any other system we currently have.

This version is fun but lacks originality. We enjoyed it but but didn't play for extended periods.

Having been a sims player since the beginning, I have come to appreciate the improvements in each version. Sims 4 brings an enhanced build tool and a different way to interact with your Sims. Major things missing is all the content from add-on packs that we saw with sims 3, vehicles, and the auto-roof feature of building. For sims fans, this is a must have, but for a first time sims player, you might be better served getting a sims 3 pack with more content for a little less money.

Had a random craving to play a game I hadn't played in years, it was everything I wanted and more. love love love it

The Sims is one of the best games for computer. I love the fact there are so many hidden features so many new things to figure out and you can literally live out your dreams and fantasies.

Bought this for my wife, so I can't give specific gameplay details. I will say the install via Origin went fine, and it appears to run pretty smoothly on her 4 year old iMac. We did find that if you played in full-screen and then left the app, you had a 50/50 chance of the game freezing up and going into a CPU cycle-sucking loop until you forced it to quit. We solved that by playing it in a window, not really a big deal.

Fifteen year old daughter loves it and has played it for many, many hours.

Like any other SIMS game, this one attracts the "tweens". My 13 year old daughter loves it.
