Aaron Sorkin wrote a fantastic script and David Fincher delivered a fantastic film. To say the film took a lot of artistic license would be generous, but it was based on the true story of the founding of facebook. The movie made Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield stars.

Other than a slightly abrupt ending, this is a perfect film. This version comes in a useless cardboard sleeve which will just take up space in a landfill and further pollute our planet, so that kind of soured my experience.

This film is unflattering, and yet insightful, to the birth of Facebook, and the betrayals and conflicts involved in it's turbulent creation. The AV quality, as well as the special features, are excellent here.

Awesome movie david fincher hit it out of the park with this one.

Jesse Eisenberg is the bomb, mostly with tech type movie, almost all. Great actor, and mostly recommend to a friend or family!

If someone were to give you the general synopsis that this film is about the rise of tech giant, Facebook, from a dorm, some people would think it sounds like it could be a boring film; however this film is anything but boring. It is filled with a lot of drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat wanting to know how things will unfold. This film is a great testament to when a great team (actors, director, screenplay writer, etc) is put together, you get an amazing film. The acting performances are great up and down the board. The writing is absolutely amazing and it especially shines with the superb dialogue. Fincher's directing style is clearly evident and it plays well in this film. Even the score styling was a great choice to complement the story. As for the quality of the DVD, it is quite good in an age with 4K as the new medium for film watching. The quality of the DVD stands up pretty well on my big screen compared to many of my blu-rays.

"The Social Network" embodies the look and feel of the digital age, with a quick pace and pristine cinematography, and this Blu-ray release captures that look and feel very well. Additionally, the bonus features including the making-of featurettes and David Fincher's audio commentary offer a fascinating look at how this film was put together. Really glad I got this, especially at the low sale price.

Since this is a David Fincher movie I know a lot of you are in a wait and see mode for the Criterion version. Don't bother, this is the version to get and you can get it at a fantastic price. The transfer on this disc is one of the best I've seen, although I wish it had a two-channel sound option. The packaging is slick (keep the plastic wrap on by cutting out the lefthand side). The extras are in-depth and immersive. Highly reccomended.

I had seen this movie before. Probably a dvd rental. Decided to bite the bullet and buy the blu ray because it was on sale and wanted to see the movie again. Blu ray quality did not disappoint. Not a Facebook fan but seeing how the phenomenon started and being a fan of David Fincher who also directed Gone Girl, Zodiac, and Seven made it worth it.

The casting was perfection! The soundtrack can and will be listened to for years to come!! Even though it was fabricated here and there? “Hollywood-ed” Up? ITS STILL ONE OF THE BEST FILMS of ALL time for perfectly talking the story of a thing that totality revolutionized the way the planet communicates/interacts/etc. GOLD!

That's what I thought when this David (SE7EN, ZODIAC) Fincher project was announced. I'm glad I went against my doubts! The Trent Reznor score is top notch & Jesse Eisenberg is perfect. The flick is reminiscent of classics like WALL STREET. I'm glad to see the blu-ray more easily & affordable found again!

This movie while partially fictional tells a great story about the creation of a social media application that created a new way to meet and communicate with others. Eisenberg’s performance was very intense. The Reznor/Ross duo provided an amazing score for their first of many collaborations.

The Social Network is one of the best films I have ever watched. I had a great time watching this film. I wasn't really sure about it before starting to watch it but I was surprised. I enjoyed the film and the acting was spectacular. I recommend everyone to try and watch this film.

It goes without saying that this is a fantastic movie that really helps define our current culture of social media. The Blu-Ray looks great and the quality of the audio really amplifies Trent Reznor's score. Definitely get the Blu-Ray if you are looking to purchase!!!

This movie looks amazing on CE Blu-Ray, and is certainly my favorite film of the last decade, besides Inception. The picture, and audio quality is amazing, and I recommend this to anybody considering a purchase.

This movie is superb. I watched it in theater and was blown away by the performances. This is a treat to watch for geeks and those in tech fields. It was a delight to watch Jesse Eisenberg deliver quick and witty dialogs. This is a must have in your collection of blu rays.

idk how much of this was real but it was definitely interesting to watch! eventho facebook screwed everyone on the end it was interesting to watch how it all developed

Everyone should watch this because it's too good to ignore. It also provides a great look at how facebook was made even if it's exagerrated for film at all

First off, David Fincher is one my favorite directors and this movie does not disappoint. Everything fro the direction to the films score is top notch. It's much more than a movie about Facebook.

After all these years the movie holds up incredibly well and the Blu-Ray holds up just as well too. I don't remember the movie looking and sounding this great and the special features are awesome!
