Much like James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy series, this comic adaptation doesn’t follow the typical superhero tropes. Instead we follow the most unusual cast of supervillains as they attempt to stop a major invasion in a very non-traditional way

I was not expecting to love this film so much. But I did it’s not as clean as the first film. So I wouldn’t advise kids to watch it, lots of cussing, graphic and gore plus a brief nude seen of a male frontal appendage. But overall great film.

The disc looks and sounds like a near reference quality disc. I would certainly think of using certain scenes to demo my home theater TV and soundbar. If you want the physical movie then this is the best.

As much hate as 2016's Suicide Squad gets, I honestly liked that rendition much better. This version of the Suicide Squad just missed the mark. So many scenes were cringey imo with half the cast being bland or just unlikable/annoying. Harley Quinn, Weasel, and maybe Amanda Waller were the only characters that I liked in this movie. Honestly can't remember any of the other characters. 2016's Suicide Squad was very centered on Harley Quinn and the Joker but I loved how it gave the other Squad members backstories and their own time to shine throughout the movie. This version of the film tried doing this but I gotta tell ya that I just couldn't care for them and I think part of it is just the actors that they chose.

Filmed in full imax ratio with no letterbox bars and the audio is in Dolby Atmos. One of the cleanest movies to come up this year. No film grain. Colors have really good pop and saturation. The digital effects blend in well with the live action.

Dark humor abounds in the DC film about a squad of super villains recruited for a mission by the authorities. Helmed by the same director as the Guardians of the Galaxy films, this one certainly raises the bar in regard to the violence and darkness of the humor.

Not to be confused with 2016’s Suicide Squad, James Gunns The Suicide Squad vastly improved in the original. Better writing, better action and relatable characters really make this one stand out

This movie is not for everyone. I personally found it fun and hilarious. But I also know people who couldn't stand it. However, if you do enjoy it, 4k is the way to buy it. The picture quality is amazing and the sound rocks my system and my seat.

The first ten minutes make you realize why the movie is called Suicide Squad. No punches are pulled, the action is flashy, gory, and quick. Peacemaker is an incredible addition to the squad. Margot Robbie is the definition of Harley Quinn

The blu ray looks and sounds fantastic. Absolutely beautiful transfer and the digital copy looks and sounds good as well. The movie is brilliant - arguably the best DC since Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. I hope James Gunn does another one!

A great addition to the DCEU. This movie has a bit of everything, major action, great DC characters, and humor. This title is a little less kid friendly than some DC movie of the past, but it does continue the story of the DC Universe well.

I’m sorry to Spider-Man No way home but both this and Shang chi legend of the ten rings were my top 2 favorite Comic book films of 2021 and my favorite movie of 2021. I love this movie so much! That it’s my good luck charm

Saw this in the theater and thought it would look/sound great in our theater room. Amazing Dolby Atmos sound and 4K picture: this version is dramatically better than the original. I was surprised that I like this movie as much as I do.

Not only a great movie but the 4K really shines on this disc and was made for home physical media enthusiasts. Love seeing transfers like this. Blows away anything on streaming platforms. Had to own this!

Top visuals, humor, and action. While this film didn't do as well at the box office as the first Suicide Squad (due to COVID), it is loads better than the previous film. Came with a nice slipcover.

great gun gore and humorous with a bunch of dark humor! this movie starts off hard! from start to finish its nothing but laughs and gore! i will be mad if they dont get gun again to finish the trilogy

I almost would have bought this back in June for $13 but then I decided to wait and it finally paid off because during Black Friday it was 10 bucks.

Great movie. James Gunn did an outstanding job overhauling this close to dead movie franchise. If your a fan of DC comics, check out this movie. Crazy action, quality storytelling

Worth the price of admission for the movie alone (which looks great on 4k), but the outtakes and the commentary really seal the deal. Skip the first Suicide Squad and go straight for James Gunn!
