While the story may be basic and non-fans won’t get that into it like the fans, I must say that this film is amazing! People have been speculating it for a few years ever since it was announce that Illumination is making it, but they shocked us and brought soon this gem! Simple family fun

If you want to know if it's a good movie, go read reviews on Google, not Bestbuy. The movie as a product on the other hand = perfect. No issues with the disk, plays as expected.

This movie shows that a movie based off a video game can be done right with the right people and creativity to go with it. The series has tons of cameos from other iconic Nintendo games thrown in when you look for them like Mario playing Kid Icarus on the NES with a Pro Wrestling poster based off the videogame hanging on a wall of Mario's bedroom. Other iconic characters of the Nintendo franchise have to be in the movie too of course but overall when you see an iconic character from one of the NES games here in the movie you can't help but feel your heart beat a bit more from the feeling that brings back from fond memories of yester years. The movie is also a great one to watch with the younger viewers as it's sure to keep them as entertained as much as it well with the older viewers.

Critics are wrong, this movie is awesome. Critics tried to compare it to an actual film, but it is a movie for everyone, pure entertainment. Recomment to own for kids and adults.

Movie is both exciting and fun for the whole family and friends who especially grow up both watching and playing any of those Iconic games on any Nintendo System that you owned. it's a perfect mash-up of both Mario's history and legacy from over the years and their is something for everyone to personally enjoy with in this film. So Let's Go! and Give it a Watch!

I loved the Super Mario Movie and it was amazing film to see all of your favorite characters in the Mario Universe. I did like the story overall as well and I loved seeing Bowser as Jack Black singing that song "Peaches" in the film as well. I'm hoping the sequel will have more Nintendo favorites. Five out of Five stars and it's a great film for the whole family and friends to enjoy.
