Classic Horror Movie is now on Steelbook. What a great classic which BB delivers again.

Nice looking steelbook. Very good looking print of the movie. Includes four commentary tracks! Maybe the (upcoming in a few months, as of this writing) 4K UHD disc with bonus disc might work better for you. But this is a perfectly great and acceptable copy of the movie if you're a fan.

This Steelbook artwork is an awesome addition to any TCM/horror collection. The transfer here also looks amazing, especially considering the film was shot on 16mm in 1974. It looks really great. The only special features are 4 separate commentaries with various cast and crew, which is my only complaint here. Wish there were more features but the amazing packaging and transfer still makes this a pretty solid recommend. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of the most effective and visceral movies ever made. It's amazing that it is just as alive and potent in 2018 as it was in 1974. The movie is beyond deserving of its legendary status and this is a nice addition to the collection. Get it while you can!

What else needs to be said about this movie that hasn’t been said already? It’s the granddaddy of modern horror, and it finally gets a beautiful steelbook package. The 40th anniversary transfer is absolutely stunning and the cover art is first-rate. Included is four audio commentaries as the only special features so anyone looking for more bonus content needs to look at the four-disc blu/dvd combo pack for a disc’s worth of extras.

Beautiful artwork on this steelbook, the blu-ray has a solid transfer keeping the grittiness intended for the film. The inner sleeve is plain black, which I actually enjoy as it allows me room to decorate them with images from the older dvd I have. For the price, this steelbook was a no brainer!

I’ve wanted to see this for years. Once this deal came up I had to jump on it. The Steelbook is awesome and the Blu-ray looks and sounds great! Also I loved the movie although it left me feeling very uneasy.

An amazing horror tale full of gore. A good watch.

I was finally to track this movie down, and in a single pack no less! Great Movie! Nowadays it looks like Best Buy and 2nd or 3rd hand stores are the only reliable areas to purchase horror movies. Everywhere else does not have them. The price was also good .

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is one of the greatest and most influential genre films to ever be released. This BestBuy exclusive Blu-ray Steelbook features the same disc found on the 40th Anniversary Edition. The original artwork featured on the front is really nice and the Steelbook has a glossy finish. Unfortunately, there is no interior artwork.

This is one of my longtime favorite horror movies. The film transfer is top notch and I really like the graininess of the image. The surround sound remix is excellent too. Steelbook a plus. Don’t hesitate to purchase this while you can.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of those movies that does not age. When it was initially released it was a movie of its time but as the years go on the movie continues to hold as a masterwork in horror. This is a beautiful transfer with vivid tones and deep rich blacks. Best Buy's steelbooks are always tasteful and well done.

This review is about the steelbook case, not the movie...They finally made a steelbook for TCM!!..It looks amazing, with all new artwork and not the same image they have been using for 20 years!!..Colors are fantastic and the print is sharp..I'm buying 2, one for display and one to open :)..Great job on this one!!

...It's because you're already familiar with TCM. The film is a classic and if you need reviews on the actual movie, look elsewhere. This exclusive steelbook goes great with the FYE exclusive steel. Looks great in hand and a definite must have for fans/collectors of Tobe Hooper's essential American horror flick.

This by far is one of the greatest horror movies ever created. Tobe Hooper is simply one of the finest directors ever. Leatherface rules in this latest release.

I remember seeing this in the seventies when it came out. It scared the heck out of me. For some reason up in till a few years back I'd always thought this was based on a true story. I must say that it still holds up. Director Tobe Hooper along with John Carpenter really set the bar for horror films.

The price is insanely good. The steelbook has very nice art. The finish is very smooth as well. Would recommend to anyone who collects steelbooks or is a fan of the horror genre.

Fantastic film that’s been released a lot over the years, great edition picture looks great and the sound is perfect if you have the right home theater requirement. One of the better horror films out there

Glad they sent the right one this time. When I first ordered it I received some chapter 2 directors cut edition that obviously wasn't a steelbook so I returned it and ordered this agsim and I'm glad I finally received the right one.

Great movie of course. It's a classic obviously. No complaints there. The steel book is even cool but the quality of this transfer absolutely sucks. The first few minutes of the film froze when I finally got the chance to play it on my new Blu-ray player. Otherwise the film itself is five stars

This movie seems to be overlooked, when it comes to talking about the best horror movies ever made. And instead of remaking Halloween, Rob Zombie would have been perfect for a TCM reboot.
