I love this dvd. I watched the entire thingand then purchased the dvds just to have.

This Blu-Ray set is really awesome! The "Zombie Head Aquarium" is a hard plastic case with two plastic aquariums with either two or three (five total) severed heads with a few decorative twigs, both aquariums are removable and the lids come off, you can fill the two aquariums with water and put the lids back on. The case itself takes four (4) AAA batteries on the bottom, and right-side up, the front of the case, the "3" for "SEASON 3" is the button to turn on the six little lights in the case that will illuminate the two aquariums, when put back into the case after filling them with water. The Blu-Ray DVD set fits into a sleeve in the back of the case. Batteries are separate. The Walker Heads are attached to a clip that clips onto the back of the aquariums, so that the heads gives the illusion that they are floating. The Blu-Ray DVDs consist of five discs (Discs 1-4 are the Episodes. Disc 1 - Episodes 1-4. Disc 2 - Episodes 5-8. Disc 3 - Episodes 9-12. Disc 4 - Episodes 13-16. Disc 5 - Bonus Features.) The Bonus Features includes: Episodes 4, 5, 8, 9, & 15 have Commentary; Behind-The-Features of The Walking Dead Season 3; and Deleted Scenes from Episodes 3, 5, 6, 10, 11, & 12. Inserts include the directions on how to set up the Zombie Head Aquarium, and the Special Offers insert for The Walking Dead and other AMC TV Series. You can't beat The Walking Dead. The story is very addictive. You really feel for the characters, The zombies are very scary looking. Thanks to Greg Nicotero.

After a rather slow season, the third season picks up exactly where Season 2 left of (of course). Rick Grimes and his small band of survivors quickly find themselves seeking shelter in, of all places, a prison. Once again they believe they’ve found their sanctuary, but when a helicopter crashes Rick and a few others go to investigate. They find a small community of survivors who’ve band together, put up a wall and are living peacefully. However, the town is run by someone nicknamed The Governor, whose polite exterior belays a deadly dark side that soon turns to Rick and his friends. Now, not only do they have to worry about the dead, they must also battle with the living…who may prove to be deadlier than any biter. Season 3 is a step up in plot and character from Season 2. AMC once again extended the season even further to 16 episodes, but there are fewer duds this season than last. Fan favorites from the comics and seasons past make welcome appearances. My biggest problem was the infamous Governor. Having read the comics he was a little too sentimental. Instead of a man who has lost all sanity and compassion for life, he’s more misunderstood which takes away from what made the Governor in the comics so deliciously evil. David Morrissey does a fine job portraying what was written. It’s just too bad he wasn’t written just a bit better. This season also served as eliminating more characters we thought were untouchable. Of course, with Frank Darabont leaving the show midway through Season 2, it was inevitable that Darabont regulars would soon follow suit. What is taken from us, though, is made up for by having some fan-favorites from the comics make their debut on screen, like Michonne (Danai Gurira) and has become a series favorite. As usual, the blu-ray comes packed with extras that will give you hours of insight into the making of this ground-breaking series. At this point if you’re a fan I need not tell you to run out and pick this bad boy up for your collection. If, however, you’re undecided, go back to the first season and give it a look. If you like what you see – and you probably will – you’ll be hooked.

I love Walking Dead my fiance originally got me started on it but I have become a die hard fan since then. This season delivers way more zombie action than season 2. It is unfortunate that an issue that needs to be taken care of doesn't resolve itself (trying not to spoil it but you'll know what i mean when u watch it). I kept watching waiting for this certain character to be killed and it doesn't happen. That sucked but they do introduce some new and exciting characters and they bring back a couple others from previous seasons even if their appearances are short lived. All in all im happy to add it to my collection. Can't wait for season 4!!!

got the lenticular cover featuring the zombie heads in the giant fish tanks. if you're a fan of the walking dead then you already know how good it is and you do not need to read this review was not a big fan of the Governor in the third season but grew to enjoy him more and more after re-watching this season a few times spoiler alert finally get to know what happened to daryl's brother and someone from the very first episode makes an appearance check out episodes 6-8 in season four great episodes featuring the governor zombies... what more to say

This is a great addition to The Walking Dead series. If you're a fan then you have to pick it up. There's plenty of extras to keep you popping the Blu-Ray back in the player and relaxing with a drink and snacks. The great acting and story telling will keep you on the edge and wanting more. The zombies look very realistic so this show doesn't seem low budget at all. If you haven't seen any of the episodes then I suggest that you start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing. I cant wait for the new season!

No particular comment on the actual bluray itself . It worked just fine . The series itself is an excellent drama despite the fact it is in the horror genre . It is very well written , fantastic actors and fine directing . This is Hollywood quality programming and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new series to watch . Understand though it contains scenes of violence and may offend the light hearted

The walking Dead my favorite TV show looks amazing on Blu-ray

After the large slow patches of the farm in season 2, things ramp up quick in season 3! A new safe haven is found in an old prison. A flourishing community of survivors is found nearby in a town called Woodbury, run by a man known as the Governor. And, well, it's The Walking Dead, so don't get too attached to anyone here...

Best buy = best service. I can find my fav tv show in a afordable price. Im so hapy to have my fav show in dvd. Its funny cause i had a great experience buying this season and i feel good every time i watch it cause i had a great experience if not i would remember that every time i watch it. Any ways this season is the best of all. I love this season.

I'm a big fan of the walking dead and season 3 does not diss appoint for zombie fans. Love the prison and the introduction of the governor. The blu ray is a great transfer with a nice picture and great sound. A must own. Special features are good with feature totes and behind the scenes documentaries. I would highly recommend this purchase along with the other seasons for anyone.

Fans will probably own this already, but it should be noted that season 3 is an excellent place for new viewers to be introduced to the characters and the world of THE WALKING DEAD. Picture and sound are excellent, but newbies should be aware that the show is photographed on film stock with an eye towards a deliberately grainy look.

I love the walking dead it's still probably one of my favorite shows of all time.

You wouldn't be looking at this is if you weren't a Walking dead fan. The question is if you want to go deluxe and the question is maybe. I personally love the tank case which you can indeed put water in it but it is just not as big as you thought it would be . It is as big as a hardcover book or a little bigger than the actual dvd case. Small but i still love it.

The Walking Dead Season 3 Limited Edition Set is awesome! The detail of the Aquarium with the floating heads when water is added is really cool. The Blu-ray set of season 3 of the walking dead was excellent. I look forward to more of these limited edition sets in the future.

AS a fan of The Walking Dead series both television and comic, this was a must have from the start. I bought all the exclusive offers for each season. Your either a fan or your not. This is a pretty cool design that allows you display it as an aquarium or you can use lights to illuminate the zombie heads. I most likely will use the lights.

I purchased this DVD from Best Buy as a gift for a friend who loves the series. The cost that was on sale was perfect for my budget. The recipient of this gift also enjoyed it. When ever Best Buy has a sale like this it is a perfect cost and not take too much out of my wallet.

The Walking Dead season 3 introduces the shows first real villain The Governor (David Morrissey) who leads a small group of survivors in the town of Woodbury and causes trouble for Rick and company as they try to settle in their new home in a prison.

This is the best show on television right now!!! So sick of good shows debuting and then the greedy and impatient networks cutting them before they can even get going!! This type of show was a risk and it has paid off wonderfully for the fans AND the network alike!!! THANK YOU!!!

I love The Walking Dead. I bought these during the Black Friday sale (the only time I buy TV Seasons). If you've never watched the show, I recommend it, however I have not watched any of the current seasons (I know, I know). Great gift idea for any fan.
