What else can I say except, story is great, gameplay is great, atmosphere is amazing, sound and music is great and the game running at 60fps on the Series X is a whole new world. I have never played a Witcher game and I missed this when it came out, but I can tell you it still holds up and competes with current gen games. Its actually so much better than many current AAA titles. Not to mention the base game is approximately 200 hours and then you have two extra DLC packages thar make this game even longer! The game is near perfect and the price is right. If you have never played this before it is definitely worth picking up, even in 2022.

This game is a must buy masterpiece, especially now that it is super cheap a lot of the time. Can't believe with gamers club unlocked this was like $16!!!!! One of the best RPG's ever made, with dozens of game of the year awards and it looks amazing on xbox one x in 4k! Just be prepared to be addicted. Narrative and voice acting are superb, story is well written. This is the total package. I expect to put 100-200 hours into this.

Game can be difficult to get used to at first but after that the story and characters suck you into their world. And it includes the two major expansions DLCs Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine. BaW is my favorite and by far better dlc. For $17 this was a steal. High recommend even at normal price but if you can get it on sale then even better. No downloading voucher codes for the dlc simply insert the game disc and play. CD made a masterpiece here and I seriously cant wait for Cyberpunk 2077.

The Witcher 3 is amazing through-and-through, and this Complete Edition is one of the best videogame deals that I've ever encountered. The graphics, sound, story, and gameplay are all top-notch; and the amount of content is second to none. There are hours upon hours of quests, just about all of which are brilliant. I highly recommend this game to anyone who like RPG's, and/or someone who wants a superb, lengthy, memorable journey.

I'll try to bullet point this review: -The game is gorgeous. Some of the best visuals on the system. -The game is huge. It can sometimes be overwhelming (in a good way) the amount of things there are to do and see. -The sound design is great from music, to sound effects and voice acting. And they improved all the sound level issues Witcher 2 had. -The story is interesting and well written. -Combat is simple, but strategy is important. While button mashing can work in some instances, often you will be overwhelmed if you don't make good use of the dodge and parry abilities. -This version of the game comes with all the DLC. Overall an improvement in every way over the previous game in the series.

This installment tells its story well even without experience with its predecessors. The storytelling through well animated and choreographed interactions and inspired dialogue is the best I've seen since Vampire the Masarade: Bloodlines. It keeps you engaged. But really only in the main quests. Combat is fluid and well paced, although it is too heavily skewed towards swordplay. Magic is basically a utility and mage builds are not satisfying. Ranged weapons are completely for utility purposes (like getting a flyer to the ground) so archer builds are out. It all seems a waste of the good bones. Even at the highest difficulty swordplay quickly becomes Assasin's Creed-like where you are God and easily and repetitively dodge, counter, and hack your way through everything. Meh. The world is large and beautiful as are the graphics. It does have the feel that it's been crammed full of stuff for the sake of stuff and if you're the completionist type, it's a chore. Most of the side and free roam stuff is boring. However the main quests are really great and well done. If you're playing on console like me there are several drawbacks that will wear on you: the load times are absurd, even on an external drive if you fast travel, die, or reload you will be waiting 1-2 min. Timed it at an average of 1:40. Many times longer than PC I hear. Looting is a hassle on console. They didn't include an acurate way to point at loot objects but did include thousands of stacks of boxes and sacks with 5 objects you need to loot separately but can't select easily. Gets aggravating to the point I hate looting - the bread and butter of RPGs. Inventory management is also a chore on console. You have hundreds of items and have to select them through lists where you can't directly click because you have no mouse. It also loads slow enough to bother you. Sigh. This would be 5 stars on PC. But the frustration factor on console makes it 4 for me. Don't let the cons keep you from this game though. It is a worthy play, esspecially on PC.

This game is the greatest RPG I have played. Hands down. Don't waste your time, this complete edition is the COMPLETE game. I haven't been satisfied with a game as much as witcher 3. The dynamics are flawless. There is only one glitch/bug which is the swimming and boarding mechanism. But this is very minute, and you can circumvent it to enjoy the game. I have played this game the most, and it is the best campaign I have played.. It's the game of the year from 2015, so you know it is good. The story is very addicting and strong. All of your actions in the game dictates what will happen in the end. And we are talking about 40+ hours of gameplay here. It's a beautiful game and a must have.. I didn't know I was going to enjoy it as much until I started playing. This is a must play.

This game has won multiple GOTY awards and practically sells itself. This edition comes with all of the DLC so if you have GCU with Best Buy (or even if you don't) this game has great value. 3rd person action/adventure with good graphics and great story, what more could you ask for?

I bought it for my girlfriend, but I find myself playing it as much as her. We take turns playing which works out for me, because I'm playing on the hardest difficulty. It's also an entertaining game to watch. Some words of advice... Playing on the hardest difficulty is actually really difficult. You die almost instantly and the loading times are rather long. I wouldn't recommend buying this for younger children. There can be some nudity (T&A) and the graphics are pretty decent. Save your game a lot!

I started this game after the most recent Assassin's Creed Odyssey and this game doesn't exactly come screaming off the starting line. Despite the slow start, the storyline was interesting (to me), the primary characters are entertaining and the combat was great because the style required a great deal of attention given how your attack varied based on what/who you were battling (the style of combat, as well as the mechanics, were dramatically different than AC so learning the style of combat was very frustrating at first). Though the straightforward and fetch-quest-heavy main story overstays its welcome, the option of joyfully adventuring through a rich, expansive open world was always there for me when I’d start to burn out.

If you haven't played this game yet...BUY IT NOW!!! At $25 for base game and the 2 expansions and all the free DLC's this is a no brainer. The game is incredible, one of the best of the generation, possibly of all time. I originally played it on the PS4, and now I have the Series X and it looks amazing, and the FREE Series S/X optimization hasn't even happened yet.

Coming from a relatively small company CD Projeckt Red and attempting their first open world game, it's truly incredible what they pulled of. A gorgeous open world with side quests being more interesting than the main quest. Top tier writing and voice performances and a combat system inspired by the Dark Souls system(don't worry the game's not notoriously hard unless you change the difficulty). This game will invade your life and suck out all the free time.

I'm not a big fan of RPGs but heard so many good things about it that I decided to buy it since BB had a member discount and got the complete edition for $25 I think. I wasn't into it at first and after a couple of hours I was thinking it wasn't my kind of game. But then after about 4-5 hours, I really got into it and now I'm loving it. It's beautiful and detailed and has a great story. Looking forward to continue playing after work.

As far as open world games go, there is a vast gap between bottom of the barrel and top of the heap, and this game is definitely the latter. I held off on this game due to all the DLC, so once it became available in one friendly package it was a no brainer. The DLC alone is more expensive than the price of this game. But if you are looking for an immense world with hours and hours of enjoyable gameplay this is for you.

This is a great game. I am new to the Witcher franchise so I am not to informed on the series. I purchased after hearing great reviews. It's a long story and a lot of time is required to invest to get through the game. Great graphics too. So much content in the Complete version. It will probably take me a few years to finish it since I don't have large amounts of time to play. But I am looking forward to it.

More than you bargain for...this game not only comes w/all the DLC, bells, whistles, swords, and outfits but the game itself is beautiful. It also has a mini card game of which in itself is a game you can spend hours playing. So much game & options in game for $19.99. No complaints.
